The Past That Lead To The future

"Boys, time to go to bed!" Yelled the twins Wren and Wendel's mother.
"Okay mother!" The boys yelled back.
So they ran into bed giggling and holding hands. Wren looked over at Wendel and asked,"What would you do if I became an Outcast."
"I would follow you to the end of the world." His twin replied.

The Test At 16

Wren and Wendel woke up to a normal morning to get ready for school. When they went into their living room in district 2.
Their mother looked at them and yelled," HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOYS!"
"Thanks mother." They replied.
"Welcome boys! Now get to school you have birthday tests to take. You better ace those tests again. I don't want no Outcast son." Said their mother.
They were on their way to class when they heard an announcement calling them to the office for their tests.

Wendel

When I arrived in the test room I took a seat then one of the king's scientists sat across from him. Her name was Dr. TarQuene. She handed me a paper that said what she wanted me to do.
It said:
1) stick out your arm
2) hold still while I tie a string around your arm
3) don't scream, squirm, yelp, or pinch up your face while I draw blood
4) then I will ask you some questions and you will answer truthfully
So as the paper said to do I stuck my arm, she tied the string around my arm pulled out a needle, and drew blood. It was negative 40 degrees. She screamed fear tainted her voice which drew the attention of two huge muscular guards and dragged him out. My arms and hands went numb my screaming sent legitimate chills through the guards arms. There arms froze in place in place holding me in place.

Wren

I arrived at the testing room and took a seat across from Dr. DinkFerd. He gave me the exact same paper everyone gets.
When I finished the test I aced it.

When Wren Got Home

At the end of the day I ran home excited to tell my mother I aced the test, but when I arrived home I was greeted with my mother and father crying on the couch.
"Iiittt'sss your brother," she started," he he fffaaiiled." She finished off sobbing.
I felt my heart drop down my chest into the bottom of my feet. Wendel had been the only person I had ever had my brother, my friend, my twin.
I ran into our room shut and locked the door. I burst out crying I couldn't help it I needed a release. I felt as if a part of me was missing I felt empty. I didn't know how to live without Wendel.

The Choice

That night while I decided that I must go to the forest and be with my brother and I know how poetic that might sound but that is truly how I feel. I knew that I might be killed for leaving but I had to. I left a note for my parents it read:
