It seems that Inferna noticed it as well seeming her grip on my legs tightened and she started to run.

"Are you an idiot we need to hide!" I whisper yelled to her.

"They can smell us!  Hiding won't help unless you have no scent or we are out side!"  She replied before zooming around another corner.

My mind was racing no screaming. What the fuck are we going to do! I don't want to fucking die! Then I heard something unexpected.

Ferna, Wren we are outside waiting for you hurry. We have the place surrounded. The voice was male and deep; it held a sort of urgency. I thought I was going crazy I mean who has voices in their head!

Inferna tuned down a dark hallway were she stopped lighting her hand on fire so we could see.

The walls were covered in shapes and drawings telling a story but soon we were going fast enough that I couldn't make them out anymore. The hallway seemed to go forever into infinity.

She kept running my eyes slowly closing without any control.

...

I woke up to the sound of my heart beating wildly in my chest

I didn't know where I was after I woke up. I stood, my legs wobbling under my own weight. I started to walk out when I heard a lady behind me come rushing at me saying, "Excuse me sir!!?? But you can't just get up!!!! You are hurt you could make your wounds worse."

That's when it all came rushing back.

We rounded one more corner before we were faced with the outside. The cool night air had stoked my cheek as Inferna ran to the others.

She handed me off to some guy who looked to be like a giant Teddy bear. He was a very big and burly man with bushy red hair and beard. The man took me in his arms and started running in the opposite direction of where we came from.

We went quite a distance before we heard the distant sound of someone chasing us. It was those creatures again. They were trying to get me back. The man that wad carrying me threw me in the air as I screamed in horror as I sky rocketed into the air. I heard fighting before I started falling.

I could say that my life flashed before my eyes... but I would be lying. I felt everything. The wind in my ears. The sky falling away. Then nothing.

I fell the weight of the world crushing me. I felt broken, beaten, and dead.
