"What?" I said completely confused. "You have jobs?"
"Yep! What do you think we were doing in the Forest?!" SF exclaimed as Ferna walked out to her room with a different demeanor than she had before.
"I don't really know. Having fun or something. What do you guys do?" I asked.
"Oh we protect your walls and our tree houses."
"Oh."
With that she walked off leaving me alone in there kitchen. I walked into the living room thinking about setting and just kinda zoning out.
The living room had two couches and four chairs. The chairs were egg shaped and hanging from the ceiling like the ones in Ferna's room. The room itself was a deep red color with a fire place in the side of the room. The hard wood floors were cold against my feet and I could tell my hair was a bit crazy by the way it puffed to the sides making me wonder how I didn't notice before. I'll go ask Ferna if she has a hair brush I could use.
With that thought I headed to her room. I saw the door was closed, but I didn't think anything of it. In fact now I wish I had because of what I saw on the other side.
I walk in and close the door behind me and what do I see... Whatever you thought was wrong I saw a half naked Inferna fighting with her lion to get her black clothing I saw her wearing my first day in the Forest. Finally she turned around and saw me, but what she did was a bit strange. Instead of screaming or getting embarrassed her eyes filled with anger her hair glowed as if it were fire itself and she calmly spoke, "Get out now or something bad will happen to you little boy."
Fear over took me as I ran out of her room and straight into a skinny girl with long blonde hair, and when she spoke her voice was like an alto melody.
"Let me guess, you walked into Ferna's room while the door was shut and she got mad and scared the shit out of you."
All I could do was nod. She pulled me in for a loose hug and as she did that I saw over her shoulder Banshella.
"Wren hey what's wrong." Shella said in a mother like voice.
"Ferna scared the shit out of him." The woman said letting go of me leaving me with Shella.
I followed Shella as she went to the entrance/exit of the house. There I saw SF, the woman I saw a bit earlier , another woman, and a man who's face looked my age except orange and he was bald. His eyes were black though a change from the brightness of his skin.
"Wren while we are at work we are going to leave you in the care of Oshel. If you have an questions go to him, you get bored you go to Oshel, and for the love of *Jamia stay away from the supply treehouse. Got it?" Shella spoke fast not giving me much time to consider what she was saying.
"Yes, but why do I have to stay away from the supply treehouse?" I asked.
