Bentley pov

"mom what do you think you are doing" I growled I was standing in front of allie and payton protecting them from my mothers claws

she had slashed my chest and it was slowly healing but blood still soacked throw my shirt

"she started it she was yelling at me and told me to leave she never wanted me around the baby or you"

"mom stop lying allie never did any of that I was the one that told you no I know you you would have tryied to mother payton which is not going to happen you can see her but you are not going to do everything for her she is mine and allies daughter and heard you say she should leave she is my mate and your luna you have respect for her and for me what kind of mother tells her sons love to leave him when she makes me happy" I yelled at my mother I was angry

"Why I was trying to help you guys by taking care of Payton so you guys could acully get to know each other like normal mates"

"we dont want you to take care of her shes are first child we want to do that kind of stuff and its to late for us to be normal mates. We got to know each other. Its just not how you see normal to me and allie that was normal and I wouldnt change a thing I loved every minute I was with allie I got to see her pregnant I got to be there for that why would I want to change that we love being with P and we do make time for are selfs after she is asleep I get up with payton at night I help allie and I know that not how you think it works I know you think the women should talk care of the babys but mom thinks have changed a lot I love talking care of her I get to bond with my daughter" I told her I turn to allie and payton

allie has gotten her shirt of now and was holding Payton close to her allies eyes stayed lock on my mother watching her every move her wolf must be out

"allie come on lets go back to the pack" I coaed at her I didnt want her wolf to be mad with me

she just nodded and stood up staying behind me as we went out but her eyes never left my mother I was proud that my mate was so over protective of our pup once we were out of the room I wrapped one of my arms around her waist and lead her down stairs to the living room

I sat her on the couch and sat in front of her on the table

"are you okay did she hurrt either of you

"no she didnt"

"im glade do you want to stay or go home" I asked her

"stay this is my pack and im not going to run even if shes your mom" allie told me

" okay lets get out there then" I told her smiling I took payton from her and wrapped one arm aound her waist holding payton in the other and walked out with my two favorite girl

when we got home that night we were tired but Payton was Wide awake so allie may have been right when she told me not to let Payton go to sleep and 2 hours before we left because now she was wide awake and wouldnt go to sleep I had work in the morning but I didnt want to make allie stay up because I didnt listen so I had her go to bed and I was sitting down stairs with P she was sitting on my lap I had my legs up on the table so she was elevated up

"baby girl arent you tired yet" I asked accorse I didnt get an answer back she just stared at me

"you have work in the morning Bentley go get some sleep ill stay up with her"

I turned around to see Allie leaning over me smiling

"its okay"

"no its not you have work you cant be tired on a call you could get hurt any way I stay home with her all day remember when she naps I nap so ill be okay" she said she wrapped her arms around my neck hugging me

" your the best love I own you how does a foot message sound" I asked

"sounds okay I guess but I had something more active in mind" she pured in my ear

"why but Payton will be here love and shes gets feed every 2 hours we wont have long" I told her I wasnt one to say no but we would barrly get going before we would have to stop

"Jason is going to watch her tomorrow night after work so we have all evening together"

I have never loved Jason so much as I have in this very moment

this would be the first time we have been together after the baby and with out the baby.

"you are the best mate in the world" I told her

"i know now give me my daughter and go to bed" she demanded

I gave Payton a kiss and gave her to her mamma I kissed allie and went up to bed

tomorrow I was going to take allie on a romantic date and I was going to ask her to marry me

when I woke up the next morning allie was curled up on my side hugging me I stocked her cheek and gave her a kiss I got out of bed and went to get ready

going back into our room fully dressed for work I looked over at allie and made sure she was still asleep I went to my dresser and grabbed the ring box I put it in my pocket I went to Paytons room she was laying in her crib wide awake staring at the mobile above her I still had an hour before I had to leave so I picked Payton up and changed her dippar and got her dressed in a pink and black Daddys girl onesie we went down stairs and I held her in my chair she was pulling just staring at me

"daddys going to work to day baby girl so you are going to have to be good for mamma" I told her I pulled my phone out and took her picture I made it my screen saver so I could show the guys at work

"be safe at work today daddy"

I looked up and allie was standing in the door way dressed in jeans and a tank top her hair up in a pony tail

how does she do that she keeps sneeking up on my and im an alpha I thought

"i will love dont worry ill be home at 4:00 so be ready to go out Im taking you out to dinner" I told her

"we dont have to babe you work all day plus this is the first night we will get with out Payton" she said

"i want to take you out so be ready" I told her ignoring what she said I got up after looking at my watch

"buy baby girl ill see you when daddy gets home" I coaed at my daughter placing a kiss on her head and placing her in the swing I turned to allie and pulled her into hug and kissed her

"i love you see you tonight" I told her and left
