Laney~
Okay, first off, I didn't expect to run into Nick. In fact, I was hoping that I could just be by myself, though if I'm completely honest, I'm sort of glad I did.
"So, um, Nick, what are you doing here?" I asked nervously. I didn't know how else to start the conversation, but thankfully Nick answered anyway.
"I love bird watching, the park is the perfect place to view them. What about you?" I wasn't sure if he meant bird watching or why I was at the park, so I replied awkwardly
"I, um, just came to clear my head. Can't say I expected to run into you." Nick grinned, for a second I questioned why, but then I smiled back. "You know, if I'm honest I thought you were just some lame pretty boy when I first heard about you." I looked back to my feet as I said this.
"Heard of me? What about when you met me?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. I didn't need to think twice to answer.
"Well, basically the first time I met you in person was with one of our gigs, but at the time I didn't think much of you. And considering Trina has this huge crush on you and talks about you ALL the time it just made me assume you're just the kind of guy girls will naturally fawn over." I answered honestly. Hoping that'll be enough to satisfy his questioning. But of course I was wrong.
"Alright, then what do you think of Nick Malory now?" This time I actually had to think of the answer. I didn't let his 'speaking in third person' bother me and thought for a second.
"Well," I trailed off, then concluded my answer. I looked back up to Nick, he still had his head tilted, awaiting the answered. I smiled. "You may just generally be on the sidelines, and have a bunch of crazy fangirls but with all that it hardly activates your ego. You're a levelheaded, cool guy. Not to mention its nice to talk to you when I have something bothering me."
Nick stared for a second or two, then smiled. "Its nice to know someone thinks about me like that, Laney Penn."
I smiled, then lifted an eyebrow. "Full name?" I asked. Nick shrugged.
"Technically, I didn't say your middle name."
"You don't even know my middle name."
"Would you care to tell me then?"
I laughed. The conversation had completely turned from what we were talking about in the first place, but I was glad I had Corey off my mind. I lightly punched Nick's arm.
"In your dreams, Nick Malory."
Instantly, my laughing came to a stop. A screech was yelled across the park. I recognised that voice. Nick must of as well, considering he also stopped laughing, or smiling in his case.
"Squeal! Kin, Kon!"
We both looked behind ourselves instantly, or at least I did. I lifted an eyebrow, and stared at them, slightly wide eyed and surprised.
Trina. There was no way that was Trina.
The annoying pick haired, Nick-obsessed teen pulled two of my band members into a hug just after happily screaming out their names.
That wasn't Trina.
I stared in disbelief, and loss for words. It brought out the question why they were even here. Then I noticed Corey. He waved to the twins as they all greeted each other and started talking casually.
I wasn't sure if I should be glad that they didn't know I was over here. Considering one; I was with Nick, and two; the fact I came out here to clear my head, only to be reminded why it was cloudy in the first place.
I have to apologize to Corey.
"I didn't expect to see them here." Nick said, monotonous as normal. I watched them all for a few seconds, before I sighed, and turned back around, looking back to the ground.
"Neither did I."
Larry~
"Yeah, Abby, I don't think she's here." I said and crossed my arms. Abby continued to walk through the park.
"Come on, we've hardly looked." She replied. Truth was I knew she was here, Laney texted me after Abby and I left the house. Thing is, I wanted to give Laney some space, and I knew seeing Abby might make her feel worse.
I sighed as I followed her. This girl never stopped, I swear.
"There! Over on the swings!" Abby gained my attention as she pointed over to yet another red head in the park. But there was someone next to her.
Abby must of noticed too, because she smirked and use her hand to cover her mouth as she giggled quietly.
"And what's this? Is that Nick Mallory I see?" I rolled my eyes. Abby ,you just keep getting weirder. "Lets go and talk to them--"
"No, Abby." I grabbed her arm before she could walk off. She turned and pouted, annoyed. I glared at her. "It's time we left her alone, besides, she looks to be enjoying herself. We're leaving." Abby continued to pout, and I rolled my eyes. Then I started walking back, dragging her along with me.

Kin: that girl is seriously getting annoying.
Larry: she's sweet one moment, obnoxious the next.
Corey: hey! Isn't this story supposed to be about me and Laney?
Me: Laney and I--
Kon: didn't you pin her against the stage or something?
Corey: how'd you know about that?!
Me: find out more next time!
