Okay this is the first time I've published a book, so sorry if i fail a bit, Now to the STORY! hope you enjoy :)
Laney’s POV
I arrive at the garage to see the twins Kin and Kon playing around with the Ping-Pong table and by the looks of it they play it more than once. They haven’t notice me opening the garage door yet so they don't know that I’m here.
“Hey guys” I say
Kin and Kon don’t hear me over their own laughter of the game.
“Guys!” I shout
Kon turns around to look at me and gets hit in head with the with the Ping-Pong ball.
“Yes! I win” Kin shouts and starts doing a victory dace
“No fair” Kon complains
I walk over towards the Ping-Pong table and notice all the dints in it.
“How many games have you two been playing?” I ask
Kin put’s his hand to his chin and looks up. He walks over towards the caulk board and flips it over. He looks back at me and says,
“About 36 games, why?”
I give myself a face palm
“Corey is going to kill you for what you did to his Ping-Pong table” I say
Kin and Kon look at the table and then at each other
“Were Dead!” Kin and Kon say at the same time and start running around like headless chickens
“Come to think of it where is Corey?” I ask looking over to Kin
Kin and Kon run into each other and stare at each other and then at me. They quickly separate and look elsewhere, whistling.
“We don’t know” Kon says
“Yeah, he wasn’t here when we arrived” Kin says still whistling
Kin slowly side walks over to the wall where there was a note. He pulls it off the wall and goes back to where he was standing. I give them both the death stare and they shriek and hug each other in fear. The garage door opens and Corey walks in making sure he wasn’t followed.
“Kin, Kon, you here?” Corey ask with a whisper
He walks in not noticing me standing over here until the twins move there head slightly to the left, he turns his head and notices me still standing here taping my foot with my arms crossed.
Corey's POV
I walk up to my house and it was really quiet so it probably meant Laney wasn’t here yet, I look behind me while opening the garage door and ask if Kin and Kon were here. I look over towards them as they point over near Laney who was standing there taping her foot.
“I thought that you’d text me when she gets hear” I whisper to Kin and Kon
I turn around to face Laney with my eyes close rubbing the back of my head hoping she didn’t hear me.
“Laney what are you doing here so early?” I say awkwardly laughing
She looks over to Kin and Kon and then back at me
“Core, what are you guys hiding?” Lanes ask
I stand there trying to think of an excuse and then trying to change the subject
“Ummmm… nothing, just nothing, I just wanted them to text me when you got here… so… we could… “I was cut off by Kin
“Start practising for our new gig” Kin says quickly adding a smile
She rolls her eyes and walks over to her Bass, picking it up and unzipping the case
“Fine then, let’s get started” she says board
I wipe the sweat of my forehead and walk over to my guitar and hook it up to the app, Kin and Kon do the same. Later that day when Laney had left I told Kin and Kon to stay behind so we could talk.
“So Kon, what’s the plan” I ask
“For what?” Kon ask back
I give myself a face palm
“For…” I was cut off, again! By Kin
“I found the balloons!” Kin said
I stare at him annoyed
“What?” Kin ask
I roll my eyes, continuing to explain “So here’s the plan!”
Me: well I’ll leave it at that for now, I hope yo…
Corey: seriously, you’re not even going to tell them our plan?
Me: why would I? It wouldn’t be that interesting that way
Corey: So! That’s not an exc…
(Cover Corey’s mouth, again)
Me: see ya next time, Thanks for coming out everyone!
(closes garage door)
