After lunch, Mordecai sat at his desk, waiting for the teacher to take attendance. Jen then entered the classroom with a towel around her neck, she was sweaty and short of breath. "Hm, guess you forgot our plans" Mordecai said. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" Jen apologized, "but Travis wanted to show me how he played soccer but I ended up getting his balls in my face." Mordecai then gave her a surprised look which was then followed by Jen's laughter. "Aren't you afraid that you might fail Chemistry?" Mordecai asked. "Nah, Ms.Simmonds can suck it!" Jen said, wiping her face. "Alrighty then," Mordecai said, slumping his head against the surface of his desk. Soon, their homeroom teacher came in and started to take attendance, when she was finished, an announcement was made over the intercom, instructing all staff and students to make their way to the auditorium. Mordecai wanted to use the bathroom so he left the line and Jen and opened the nearby boys's bathroom door. When he came out, Mordecai saw Travis and Ashly talking about something. Before they could notice him, Mordecai ran back behind the bathroom door and using his special hearing skills, he overheard the seamingly suspicious conversation. "I can't wait," Travis said. "Me neither, little Jenny will get her just desserts in front of the ENTIRE school!" Ashly responded. The two shared a laugh before walking off. Mordecai looked on in horror, waiting for the two to vanish from his sight. He needed to warn Jen before it was too late. He raced to the auditorium, if only he could use his wings but he couldn't due to immerse school population. He ran straight to the back stage area, where he saw Jen on-stage, holdind a blueberry cheesecake and standing next to a GIANT layered cake that was almost as high as the ceiling. "JEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Mordecai screamed as he ran towards her. Jen stared at him with her mouth wide open as he tackled her. The two crashed into the giant cake and Jen's cheesecake fell flat on the floor. The giant cake tilted left and right before it fell off the stage, spilling a tidal wave of frosting onto those seated in the front row area. Back on stage, Mordecai stepped out of the base of the once gi-normous cake. His clothes, his hair and face was soiled in frosting. As he wiped away the frosting from his face, Mordecai looked on towards the audience, they were mad, he looked at the teachers and the principal, they were irate. And, from the base of the cake, he looked at Jen, wiping her face from the frosting, she was FURIOUS. Mordecai then looked up to the rafters where he saw a banner, 'Just Desserts Patsserie Essay Contest 2011.' How can he forget that Jen entered the contest and won that giant cake for the school and the cheesecake for herself? Travis and Ashly were on the student council so they must have known beforehand. Jen's anger soon turned to tears when she saw her prize splattered all over the floor. She got up, walked towards Mordecai and said: "I love cheesecake." She then ran off the stage, crying with Travis running after her. "Nice going ya asshole!" a random heckler shouted from the once-silent audience. After that statement, Mordecai was greeted by a shower of boo's and a hailstorm of plastic bottles, paper balls, water ballons etc. He really screwed up this time.
