Mordecai returned home, it was about six in the evening. His clothes had since then dried. Turns out, there was actually a tiny jail in the mall and Mordecai found out the hard way. "All those hours...." he muttered. He sat down on the sofa and he finally opened the gates of his emotions. "Jen..." he silently whispered. That name triggered his tears to fall and his eyes followed that instruction. Left alone, Mordecai wept oceans for Jen. He loved her dearly and he wished that he could prevent what happened at the mall. It's sad because once he had a dream where he and Jen got married. Mordecai grabbed a can of beer from the fridge and a cigar that was hidden in a drawer. He chugged down the beer and lit a cigar with a matchstick. He took a puff and he coughed out in disgust. "How can that old bastard enjoy these?" he asked. He sighed and he held the cigar in one hand. He then proceeded to burn his arms as his tears continued to fall. The pain he felt inside was just too immense. He got up and faced the living room window and gazed at Jen's house. It was dark as no outdoor lights were on and the garage was barren. "Where could this girl be?" Mordecai thought with a slight taste of concern. He tried to forget about Jen but he just could not fight it, his love for her still seeped through and soon he became worried for Jen's safety. Mordeacai thought that if he could use that special bond power, he could see if Jen was safe. Problem was, Jen hates him now so the clarity of the vision would be really impaired but it would worth it. Mordecai took a deep breath, closed his eyes and began to focus. He grunted in slight pain before his eyes popped open, glowing a dark orange hue. He saw, what looked like the interior of the old, abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. It was oddly filled with photography equitment but the fact that Jen was in the abandoned warehouse made Mordecai jump. He ran out of the house, forgetting to lock the door and he lept up and began to fly. He raced over to the far side of town where the warehouse was located. Upon arriving, he burst through the ceiling, much to the shock and awe of those inside. Travis, Ashly, Ashly's posse and thier boyfriends were there and in a corner was Jen. Her hands were handcuffed behind her and she was dressed up like a clown, minus the rainbow wig and red nose. "Mordecai!" she screamed, "boy, I'm glad you're here!" "Jen, you got a little something on your face." Mordecai responded, pointing out the face paint that was smeared all over Jen's face. At that moment, all the guys including Travis tried to assault Mordecai while all the girls huddled in the corner where Jen was. Ashly, with camera in hand, continued to take embarssing photos of Jen. Meanwhile, Mordecai was trying to fight off the gang of buff and tanned jocks that wanted to hurt him. One guy lunged towards him and Mordecai punched him in his jaw. "Whoo!!!!" "Go Mordecai!!" Jen cheered. "Go Morde-mmpph!" Jen's cheers were cut short by Ashly's free hand which she clamped on top of Jen's mouth."Shut it!!" snarled Ashly, pulling on Jen's hair a bit which made her yelp in pain. This distracted Mordecai which led to Travis, grabbing both of Mordecai's wings. This made Mordecai yelp in pain as the scabs on one of his already wounded wings were torn open. As blood from the wound trickled to the floor, Mordecai bent down slightly. One of the guys took a rusty, lead pipe and struck it across the back of Mordecai's head. He slumped to the floor, the last thing he heard was Jen's horrified and muffled screams. "So this was the guy who kept interferring in our plans?" Ashly asked. "Yeah, weird little dude." Travis responded. "Whatever," Ashly said. "Just put him in the corner with little Jenny," she instructed. She removed her hand from Jen's mouth and she walked towards Travis with her posse following her. Jen stared at the unconscious Mordecai. She started to cry at the sight of one of the guys taking off his belt and using it to bind Mordecai's wrists behind his back. Travis grabbed Mordecai's legs and dragged him to Jen's side. Jen hid her painted face so that Travis won't see her tears. Suddenly, the group was planning what to do next and they had their backs turned on the two. "C'mon Mordecai, you gotta wake up," Jen whispered but Mordecai was still unresponsive. "Look, I'm really sorry for everything, I've been a real bitch!" she continued. At this point, she started to cry again. This time, her tears rained down upon Mordecai's cheek, still nothing. Jen thought that this might be it so she leaned over and she kissed him on his lips. That kiss breathed life into Mordecai. He awoken and he immediately freed his wrists from his restraints. His eyes began to glow brightly yellow and a bright flash of light shone from the hole in the ceiling, alarming Ashly's gang. All the guys ran towards him and Mordecai jumped up into air and he swooped down, taking out all guys, Travis tried to run away but Mordecai grabbed one of his ankles and dragged him closer. Before anyone can describe what Mordecai did to Travis, a bright flash rang out which made the girls whimper slightly in fear. When the flash subsided, Travis was in a fetal position, quivering like an infant. Mordecai regained his composure and the light in his eyes faded. He stared at the brood of girls included Ashly and they stared backed at him in silence. The guys were out cold on the floor. Mordecai walked towards Jen, he picked the hancuffs' lock with a hairclip in Jen's hair. She rubbed her wrists and Mordecai helped her up. "Mordecai, I am so sorry!" Jen blurted out. "I screwed up, I-" Mordecai put his index finger across Jen's lips, silencing her. He then kissed her. "I love you Jen," he said. Jen smiled and she responded, "I love you too." The two held each others hands and they walked out of the silent warehouse. "Let's head home and clean you up," Mordecai said. "Yes please, I wanna get out of this clown costume!" Jen said, jumping into Mordecai's arms. She kissed him once more and Mordecai flew off. "Hey Mordecai.." Jen said mid-flight. "Yeah," he reponded. "Remind me to buy some mouthwash, I wanna get the taste of Travis out of my mouth," she said. Mordecai laughed and responded, "Sure thing Jen.....sure thing."
