Chapter 18

Kelli's POV
It's been a month since Erin's miscarriage and nows she's really happy. Well actually everyone is. It feels like I haven't got cancer anymore but I know it will still be there. I always think about death. I think I'm actually ready for death. But for now I should live life.

I got out of my thoughts and got out of my bed brushed my teeth and hair then changed into a Minnie Mouse singlet, denim shorts and a pair of converse. Because let's face it.. where would anyone be without converse? I got my Minnie Mouse hat.. you know the one they have at Disney Land in California with the ears and bow? Yeah so cause I was feeling spontaneous today, I decided to put that on.

As I got to the kitchen, an unpleasant sight was before me. Cody and Kirra. And they were making out.
"Eww. Guys! I know you guys are married but please save that for when no one is home!" I yell walking out.

I proceed to the living room and see that Khylin and Connor doing the exact same thing.
"Would it kill people in this house to lay off on the PDA? Jeez, it's like you want me to be scarred for life." I say addressing my best friends, sister and brother-in-law. Kirra rolls her eyes. "Please Kel. Everyone knows you were way worse with Billy." She smirks.
"We shall not talk about that." I blushed.
"Lighten up Kells." She mutters, leaving the room with Cody hot on her trail.

"I'm bored," I say to no one in particular.
"Okay." Khylin shrugged.
"Cool. Now if you'll excuse us." Connor said pulling Khylin upstairs. I eat an apple and then trudge up to my room.

Ooh. Stefanie and Erin should be free. Let's see what they're doing. I pulled out my phone and dialled Stef's number.
"Hey girl." She answered.
"Heya. I'm bored. So if Erin agrees.. wanna go do some light shopping?" I ask.
"Sure. But Kel.. we all know when you mean light shopping you mean let's get something from every where." She chuckled.
"Not funny Stef. Anyway.. I'm gonna call Erin and then text you what time I'll pick you up. Kay?" I ask.
"Don't worry bout it. I'll meet you guys there. See you Kells." She said.
"Later Stef." I hang up.

Now to call Erin.
"Hey Er." I say when she picks up the phone.
"Last I checked.. I was not a lady.. And my name wasn't Er ." Robert's voice says. I can practically see him cracking a smile on the other end.
"Whatever Robby. Where's my best friend?" I ask.
"Robert Pattinson. Give me my phone this instant." Erin yells. I stiffle a laugh. "Hey Kells. Sorry, my so called boyfriend is being a mean person. So what's up?" She asked.
"Wana come shopping with me and Stef? I can pick you up in 10?" I ask. "Yeah I need to get out so I'll get ready right now. See you soon." She says hanging up.

After I got my phone, wallet and a bottle of coke to take with me in my car, I went to find Kirra.
"Hey Cody, where is my sister?" I asked.
"Out. Grocery shopping." He replied. "Okay. I'm going shopping with Stef and Erin. See you later." I smiled. "Sure." He shrugged. Just as I was about to step out he yelled out.
"Kells! You have a doctor's appointment today at 1:30. Don't forget." He reminded me.
"Kay, thanks Cody. Bye boys!" I yell, leaving the house. The time now was 10:30. Plenty of time.

Two hours later and Erin is being ridiculously picky about what shoes match with her dress.
"Hurry up! I'm hungry!" Stef whined. "Fine. I'll take the pumps." She finally decided.
"Thank you!" We both chorus, as Erin pays.
"Food. I feel like Starbucks." I say. They nod and we walk to the food court.

As we wait in line, I look around. There are like 10 year old kids here. The things people do for Starbucks. Stef and Erin order a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino and I get a Mocha Frappuccino. After we get our drinks it's already 1:00.
"I've got to go guys. Got a doctor's appointment. See you later." I say, hugging them both. We say our farewells and I drive to the doctor's.

As I enter, the receptionist smiles.
"Hi Kelli. The doctor was about to call for you. You can head in honey." She smiled.
"Thanks Lacey." I smile and walk in to the doctor's office.

The doctor turned around in his seat and smiled at me.
"Hello Miss Berglund please take a seat." He said. I slowly sat in the seat.
"Thank you." I said.
"Well I called you here because next week we will be performing a surgery on you." He said.
"Oh ok." I said.
"But there is a possibility of you dying in that surgery." He said. When he said I looked at him shocked. Death!!!!
"What." I said.
"I'm sorry but you really need to take this surgery." He said.
"Even thought there is a possibility of me dying." I said. The doctor looked down and scratched his leg.
"It's crucial for you to take this surgery because it will get rid of your cancer."
"It will get rid of my cancer." I asked.
"Yes it will." He said. I thought for a minute. I'll die either way and the quicker I die the earlier people can move on with their lives.
"Ok I'll take this surgery but promise me you won't tell my family that there is a possibility of me dying in this surgery." I said
"As you wish Miss Berglund."
