Unconditionally

Chapter 2

Kelli's POV
"Where the heck is she?" Khylin complained plopping down in one of the plastic waiting chairs. Connor slapped him in the back of the head and told him to quit complaining. I blew my nose with one of my handy dandy pocket tissues;
"She should be here any min‐" I was cut off when I was tackled on the side by my overly excited sister,
"Sissy!" I never knew she had hulk strength, but I have found out now she does.
"Kirra, I can't... breathe." You literally could hear my bones cracking. She pulled away but placed her hands on my shoulders and stared at me with a grin from ear to ear. "Look how beautiful you've gotten, you look so grown up." Kirra tea red up as she took in my new shorter hair, that I very much liked and my new style.
"Aw, Kirra Bear doesn't cry." I pulled her in for a hug. Once I heard clapping, I pulled away and stared at the two goofs pretending to cry.
"Oh my gosh, so touching." Connor patted his heart and Khylin wiped his eyes. I rolled my eyes and took Kirra over to meet Connor,
"Kirra you already know Khylin, and this is Connor his boyfriend." Connor smiled and waved at Kirra.
"Congratulations on the wedding."
"Thank you!" Kirra caught him off guard as she pulled him into her for a hug.
"She's a hugger." I say as she went to Khylin next. I felt a burst of happiness run through me as the three chatted about the wedding. I missed Kirra and everyone else. "C'mon, I want to get home." I say pulling Kirra.

We made it Kirra's car in a matter of five minutes and I was shoved in the back because Connor was too infatuated on talking to Kirra about her wedding dress. Khylin and I sat in the back rolling our eyes whenever they would gasp.
"This is going to be like this until after the wedding." I say to Khylin and he groaned hitting his head off the window. It was a bit chilly out, the cool fall air made the window fog up, from all of Kirra and Connor's talking. We arrived at my house in about thirty minutes and it still looked the same as it did before,
"Do you live in Cody's house, or...?" I asked.

Since Cody was our neighbour the two kind of had an option to live in both houses, and just one.
"We live in ours; his parents came back here to live." Kirra says while parking the car and getting out. Khylin, Connor, and I grabbed out things and headed into the house, to find Cody dancing to some One Direction.
"I leave you for about an hour and this is what I come home to." Kirra chuckled shaking her head. Cody blushed and turned off the TV.
"Hey Kel!" He came over, giving me a hug.
"Nice moves." I laugh hugging him back.
"Cody, this is Connor, Khylin's boyfriend." I introduce Cody and Connor and they do that little bro hug thing.
"Come on guys, I'll show you your room." I had Connor and Khylin follow me to the guest room across the hall from me.

"This will be your guys room and mine is a crossed the hall." I point out the door.
"Are you going to do anything tonight?" I asked. I wanted to go see Erin and Stefanie. Connor shrugged,
"Khylin said he's going to show me around." I nodded,
"Okay, I'm going to go see the gang, see how everyone is." Khylin smiled and threw his suitcase on the bed,
"Tell them I said hey, and I'll see them soon." I knew what Khylin wanted, he wanted alone time with Connor a bit.

"Okie dokie. I'll see you guys later." I headed out of their rooms and went down stairs to see a disturbing sight.
"Ew, ew, ew, ew,ew. Please keep it PG when I'm staying here." I gagged as I covered my eyes from the horrific sight. Kirra was sitting on the kitchen counter as Cody was in between her legs, and they were making out; gross. Kirra blushed and lightly pushed Cody away,
"Sorry sis." She hopped down from the counter.
"Are you going anywhere?" Kirra wrapped her arms around Cody's waist from the side. "Yup, so you and your honey don't have to worry about me seeing all that shiznit." I drew a circle in the air around them. Kirra chuckled and nodded,
"Okay be safe." I gave her a thumbs up and headed out the door. Thankfully Kirra was a nice sister and let me borrow her car to get to Erin and Robert's apartment.

I arrived at Robert and Erin's apartment on the other side of town in about fifteen minutes. I knocked on their door and heard Erin yell,
"Hang on!" Once Erin opened the door I couldn't help but have my mouth drop and Erin squeal.
"What?!" We both yelled at the same time.

Erin knew I was coming, maybe she didn't expect me here, but what I wasn't expecting was a little belly popping out from her tight white T-shirt.
"ROBERT PATTINSON!" I yell and Robert came running around the corner and stopped when he saw me, dropping his phone that was in his hand, and then turning around and running the other way.
"Kel! What are you doing here?" Erin asked. My eyes were wide and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
"When did this happen?!" I exclaim. Erin bit her lip and looked down,
"Well um, about three months ago."
"When were you planning on telling me?" I put my hands on my hips and raised an eyebrow. Erin blushed and mumbled a sorry,
"We were planning to tell everyone at the wedding. You know so like we can get everyone at the same time. The only people that know are my mom, Robert's parents, Stefanie and Jake."

"Billy doesn't know?" I asked and Erin sighed and moved out of the way for me to go in. "It's a long story." A half hour later, I was sitting in Erin and Robert's living room. It was a really nice apartment, two bedrooms, a nice size living room and kitchen, the bathroom was cute too with the beach theme that Erin insisted on having. The couch was plush and I could have fallen asleep on it, but I was too upset with what Erin has been telling me. Robert had finally come out of their room and was sitting with Erin and I,
"So I wasn't the only one Billy has been blowing off?" I asked and they shook their head. It didn't make me feel any better that he was being different with everyone else, even his own sister. From what Erin has been telling me is that he was staying in his dorm on campus for awhile and he hasn't been coming in to visit anyone.

"I've only talked to him once in the past month." Robert sat next to Erin on the couch. "He seemed like he was stressed, but he said he was working on something." I scrunched my nose and scoffed,
"More like working on someone." Erin sighed and rubbed her belly. I caught myself staring, I couldn't believe that the girl who said she didn't want to have kids until after college, be rubbing her tummy.
"Maybe our baby will make him be a better person, right baby?" She cooed to her stomach. I laughed and shook my head at her,
"You're weird." I got a glare from her and a chuckle from Robert. But anyway, I don't want to talk about Billy, we are kind of in a mutual relationship." I shrug,
"Do you know what the gender is?" I ask. The two shook their head and Erin answered, "We have an appointment next week to see what the baby is." I smile and that leaves us off to an hour and a half of Erin and I talking about baby things and what to buy for he/she, and Robert groaning and telling us that we were such girls so he went to go play Xbox in their room.

I left Erin's house around seven o'clock, because she seemed tired, and I knew I had to get unpacked and Kirra wanted to start organizing everything for the wedding. On my ride home, I did a very dangerous thing happen; I let my mind wander on its own. I starting thinking about Billy, wondering if he still loved me. I felt my heart start to break just thinking about him moving on and having a new girl, he was probably with that girl who was a lot sexier and with him more than me. She probably made him happy and then there is me, who lived in New York and couldn't even go on a date with him. I stopped myself when I felt a tear fall onto my cheek. I quickly wiped it and pulled up to my house. I took a deep breath before turning the car off and heading inside. Kirra sat on the couch with Cody watching 'Lilo and Stitch'. I chuckled and leaned against the door frame,
"You two are how old? And you are watching Lilo and Stitch." Kirra smiled and nodded. "Of course this was my favourite movie when I was in high school." High school.
"And Cody has never seen it, so I sat him down and made him watch it." I chuckled and rolled my eyes, of course she made her fiancé watch this.
"Well do you want to do your seating tonight?" I asked and she shook her head.
"No, go get settled in." I nodded and headed up the stairs.

I stopped when I got to the top and heard Connor and Khylin whispering.
"Do you think she'll like them?" I heard Khylin whisper.
"Of course she wills, it's so cute." Connor gushed. I chuckled and started to proceed to my room, they must have been talking about some new TV show.
"But they have been having such bad relationship problems." I heard Khylin say before I shut my door. Before I could turn my light on, I was pinned to the back of my door and cool breath on my neck. I was about to scream when a hand came over my mouth and a chuckle came from the, obvious guy,
"Don't scream Kel."
