Falling

Whether it be fair or stormy,
Couples walk in ivory towers
And parents run in little stitches
After precious children.

Time is iridescent,
Transcendental and mellow.
I am a watch to myself
And you, my tireless keeper.

Bakers bake their glowing bread.
I taste their scent and you,
Your gorgeous curls
And your careful threads.

Clouds pass happily
Over dazing summer city
And our sweetheart fields;
I fall from them dreaming.
