New beginnings

Payson's POV

The plane ride was long so very long. I had a snoring old man sitting next to me keeping me awake so I couldn't even sleep.

But London is beautiful and I have a good feeling Aubrey's here some where but for know I need to worry about where I'm going to stay.

I know no one where and to be honest I'm a little lost but I make my way down the street looking at the sites and trying to figure out where I am.

On my right I see a sign that says Motel I know it's not the nicest place but its for one night and in the morning ill go look for something more permanent.

I go inside and their is a lady at the front desk. "Hello um... I was wondering if you had a room just for the night?" I ask the lady with the name tag that reads Bertha.

She spoke in an English accent which was absolutely amazing. "Well let me just check you in and Ill get you right to a room" she says sending

me a warm smile.

"Thanks." I say as she gives me paper work with my name.

The paperwork just states that I won't destroy the room and that any robbery that takes place is not there problem.

Bertha hands me a pen to fill out the paper work. My name is first that's when I got stuck should I right my real name? I decided it would be best to change it a little

Name: Payson Weeler my last name isn't really Weeler my actual name is Payson Connor but its a new beginning so yeah I hand the lady the paper work and seventy dollars.

She hands me a key that says room 116.

"Your room is 116 it's up the stairs third door to your right." she says pointing up the stairs.

"Okay thank you." I walk up the stairs and I see my room.

I unlock my door and go into the room I have bought for the night. All that is in here is a bed and a closet with clean bedding on it.

I make the bed and sit dow it's eleven fifty but I'm not used to this time so I'm wide awake. I go down stairs and pay fifty cents for a news paper.

I get back to my room and start looking for jobs what is the best job for an eighteen year old trying to have a new start?

I come across a wanted sign for a cashier at Williams tea and coffee shop. I circle it and I go to lay down on the bed its a new start for a new me and hopefully I find anything thats close to a clue to help me with Aubrey.
