Bea's POV

This is it! We're finally in the finals!' I said to myself as we approach the gym full of people especially students and supporters, one side wearing yellow, and the other wearing green. I saw some banners with our school's name, too.

"Bea!" I heard my parents calling me

"Mom!! Dad!!"  I said and immediately hugged them both as soon as I reached their spot. By the way, it's their first time to watch our game and I'm really really happy. They're always busy because of our family business but I understand cause I know it's for our own good and they keep on supporting me naman with my volleyball career.

"Feeling nervous anak?"  My mom said

"Kinda po, but I feel good and excited right now" I was really nervous but by the time I saw them I quickly felt excited knowing that they're here to watch and support me, especially cause it's the finals and their first time.

"That's great anak! Good luck later, okay? Show them what you've got! And don't forget to pray!" I swear I want the game to start na! I feel so motivated!

"Thanks dad! And yes I will!" I said then he kissed my forehead

"Bea please be careful ha? Baka you might injure yourself nako nako!" My mom said and I laughed, she's really protective when it comes to me

"Promise mom I won't, I'm a big girl na kaya!"

"De Leon! Warm up na!" Coach shouted from the other side

"Sige na anak, you should go" Dad said then I hugged them once again and kissed their cheeks

"Love you!!!!" I said and went to my teammates na

We did our warm ups already and we just finished our free spiking. By the way, I'm Isabel Beatriz De Leon from Saint Pedro Poveda College, or simply known as 'Poveda'. I'm a graduating student and this will be my last game in high school.

"Ouch!"  I muttered, somebody just hit me with a ball, or should I say spike

"Shucks!!! I'm so sorry!"  A girl wearing a green jersey suddenly came up

"Uhmm yeah it's alright"  I smiled to assure her it was fine then returned the ball

"Thank you!"  She said

Then I heard the whistle blow, which means its game time!!!

"Huddle up, ladies!"  Coach shouted

"You ready capt?"  My teammate Kianna whispered

"More than ready"  I grinned

Coach instructed us what to do and reminded us our plays. He even said some inspiring words and lastly, we prayed together.

We shook hands with our opponent, the players of De La Salle Lipa, then went to our court and huddled.

"This is it guys! Let's give them a good fight!"  I said

"Yes capt!"

"Poveda in 3!"

"1! 2! 3! POVEDA!!!!"

I looked at my parents to where they are and gave them a thumbs up.

'IT'S GAME TIME!'
