Therese's POV
It's a Saturday night and I'm with Rex & Bea right now here in Vikings. We had our training a while ago and we decided to have dinner here. Supposedly it was going to be a dinner date but my very thoughtful boyfriend decided to invite Bea since she seems a little bit gloomy today.
"Sorry ah I ruined your dinner date." Bea said while munching.
"Ano ka ba, from now on you're included in our date na hahaha triple date ata to." Rex jokingly said to lighten up the mood.
"Wait 'The Other Woman' ba to?" I added and we all laughed.
Bea has been going out with us, I mean we've been inviting her. Whether we go food tripping, shopping, road trips, and even club hopping (Which I'm against at. But since both of them likely agree on it, well what can I do?). The past few days kasi she's been really heavyhearted and not on her usual self. Sometimes even spacing out during our team bonding. Now here's why.
Jho & that Marci guy have been going out lately, and by lately I mean for almost a month now. It pains me every time I see Bea getting hurt. She would always pretend that she's okay but I know deep down, she's not. What she felt towards her was very deep that she didn't even realize she was already distressed. And how Jho would obliviously torture Bea by telling her that she & Marci went to blah blah and they did this and that. But Bea would always manage to smile & listen even though it felt like thousands of knife pricked her heart at once, and latter would say that she's happy for her.
Ever since Bea told me about her feelings, I've been observing Jho on how she stares at Bea, react when I tease them both, and how she cares for her. I really believe there's something going on inside her. It seems like she already fell for Bea but is completely unaware because she only sees her as her bestfriend. And then Marci suddenly showed up in the picture which I think, is a threat to Bea. Although I can see that nothing has changed between how they treat each other, still the clingy Jho & Bea.
I told Bea to confess cause she can't just hide her feelings for the whole time. Not because Jho needs to know, but because her heart needs to be at peace. She answered me with "I don't want to ruin our friendship" and "she might get disgusted" since they're both ladies. And keeps on hating herself for having those feelings she never wanted. Hay nako Bea, by keeping your secret will not stop the bleeding, it'll only get worse and kill yourself slowly. By the way Rex knows about this kaya nga whenever he wants to take me somewhere, he'd tell me to bring Bea with us.
Flashback
Everyone was busy watching Love Rosie on a saturday morning. And there goes Jho & Bea being clingy to each other, but not until someone knocked on the door and a very unexpected visitor came to visit someone. It was Marci, clearly visiting Jho.
The movie was paused for a while cause my teammates started interviewing him. Asking questions like "Are you courting Jho?" "Do you like her?" and so much more. Then I saw Bea walked away from the living room but no one seemed to notice except for me, so I followed her as she went up to the rooftop.
"Trying to avoid the scene downstairs huh." I said and sat beside her.
"Oh, I thought no once noticed me walking away lol."
"You okay?"
"I am, haha ano ka ba."
