Bea's POV
"Come on Bei place your gifts na under the Christmas tree. Bilis it's almost 12!"
"Wait lang kuya. It's not like tatakbo ang Christmas tree duh. Chill."
I just finished wrapping kasi and now I'm still writing the names of the recipients. While my brother's busy checking his watch from time to time baka daw kasi 12 na, which means it's Christmas!!!
By the way our team party was fun. The theme was 'Pantulog' kasi we're all sleep deprived daw. I wore a sleeping attire, and so did they. We looked really cute though haha. We had games and batch presentations. Mads, Tey, & I presented a dance number which was choreographed by both of them and mind you guys, I looked like dancing tree sa tigas ng katawan ko. Haaay almost all eyes were on me, but I didn't mind cause atleast I made them laugh with my bad dancing skills.
Then during our manito manita, I recieved a cookie monster back pack from Amy and I really loved it. Guess who received the books I bought? It was Maddie. She was really surprised though, and when she opened my gift, it was like she can't believe what she saw tas she immediately hugged me. On the other hand, that huge stuffed toy Jho bought, nako po halos same height lang pala ni ate Ells and all of us couldn't stop laughing. Plus, our food was really good. Yun lang but I had fun.
"Aaand I'm finished!" I gathered up the gifts and nilagay sa plastic.
"Ugh finally. I thought I'll be waiting forever." He felt relieved.
"Walang forever."
"Eww sis you're so bitter. Haha!"
"Shut up. You see, I need a little help here."
"Okay, Lilo!" Lilo as in from Lilo & Stitch.
"Tsk! Peter Griffin!" Peter Griffin from Family Guy.
Our relatives are here, specifically the de Leon's. They're always present every Christmas and New Year. And right now some of them are very busy preparing the food for our Noche Buena, including my mom. I looked for my dad and saw him in the balcony together with my tito's.
We carried the plastic and brought it in the sala, then took out the gifts and arranged them underneath the Christmas tree. My cousins went to us with their excited faces.
"Woah! That's a lot!!!"
"Yup!"
"Ate Bea, can I have one?" Awwee my 7-year-old cousin, Luke.
"Later Luke, when it's 12 o'clock na. Okay?" He just nodded.
And for the nth time, kuya checked his watch again.
"2 more minutes guys!"
"Come on people, let's go to the roof deck!" I heard my dad shouted.
All of us gathered up there while my tito Alex went to the garden to prepare the fireworks.
"Last 10 seconds!"
