Bea's POV
I'm on my way now sa Ateneo kasi the rookies daw will be introduced today. Honestly kinakabahan nga ako eh, I don't know why pero I'm kinda excited rin. But I told sir Tony na to keep it secret muna kasi gusto ko surprise.
After that night when I finalized my decision, I went to La Salle the next day and talked with coach Ramil.
Flashback
"Bea nakapag desisyon ka na?" Coach Ramil
"Yes po coach. Sana po you won't get mad at me." I nervously said
"So I guess mas gusto mong lumipad kaysa pumana ah hehehe."
"U-uhm opo hehe. I'm so sorry coach, its not that na ayaw ko dito, parang something kasi is dragging me to go there eh and some personal matters po. Sorry po if you feel na I betrayed the team." I feel like im going to cry. Parang pinaasa ko sila eh.
"Nako kahit gusto ko dito ka na lang, wala akong magagawa eh but to respect your decision. Okay lang Bea, huwag kang magsorry hindi ako galit, I understand. Don't feel bad Bei." He said smiled, assuring me that everything's fine.
"Thank you po talaga coach." Then I hugged him.
"Tara magpaalam ka na sa kanila."
We went to the gym and the lady spikers were getting ready for training. Coach noticed na mukha hindi ako mapakali.
"Relax lang, they'll understand." Then tapped my shoulder.
I hope they will.
"Gather up muna girls, I have something to say." Coach Ramil instructed.
"Hi Bea!!!!"
"Long time no training ah!"
"Miss you BeiBei!!"
I just smiled in return. Kinakabahan ako eh pag nalaman na nila na I won't commit myself here pala tapos nakikitraining ako few weeks ago.
Finally coach started talking.
"Girls I'm sad to say this but unfortunately, hindi na matutuloy si Bea dito sa La Salle."
Moment of silence. Kroo kroo.
I can feel na namamawis ako dahil sa mga titig nila. Medyo natatawa ako dahil sila lahat naka nganga. But finally they broke the silence.
"Bakit Bei???!!!"
"Inaway ka ba ni coach?!"
"Pangit ba kami?! Ayaw mo ba samin?!"
"Paki explain Bei labyu."
Those were some of the reactions I heard. Napa smile naman ako, ang cute nila eh. Then coach signaled me to talk.
"Before I explain why po, I just wanna say thank you coach for allowing me to train with your team, I really appreciate it and I learned a lot from you even in a short span of time. To you mga ate's, thank you po for welcoming me here and for being so kind."
