To Save or Not to Save (Ian)

I can see Sage's footsteps in front of me. He is fast runner, faster than me at least.

We get to a small shelter. "We've been camping out here mostly. Adrian and his friends caught us when we returned to the cornucopia for supplies." Taria explained.

Sage had already thought of a plan. "Okay so they have Adrian, Austin, Leah and Leo. They outnumber us still" Sage explained.

"We need the girl" Taria explains.

"I have already thought of a rescue plan." Sage begins "They are most likely at the cornucopia, so we hit them at midnight when they are most like sleep in shifts" Sage explains.

"Taria, get to the top of a nearby tree and shoot the guard. Ian and I will run in. Ian you grab Aqua and I will kill Adrian or die trying" Sage explains.

"You can't sacrifice yourself!" Taria sighs.

A cannon goes off and the picture of the District 11 male, Peter, is shown. Then a list of the people who had died.

"Get some sleep" Sage says. "I'll keep watch and wake you both when its midnight"

I lay my head down and I immediately fall asleep.

I wake to a cannon and see the District 8 male, Lee's, face on the screen.

4 down, 20 left. I think.

I look around, Taria is asleep beside me but Sage is nowhere to be seen.

I walk a little before I see Sage by a berry bush.

"Stop!" I yell just as he places the berries to his lips.

"They could be poisonous!" I say. He drops the berries.

"But I am hungry!" He sighs.

"How far to midnight?" I ask.

"About now" He remarks

"There should be some food in the cornucopia" I say.

"Let's go then" Sage smiles before approaching Taria.

Taria awakes and we make our way to the cornucopia. Taria gets into position in the canopy and shoots her arrow.

It hits Leah, District 2, female in the head. She dies instantaneously.

The cannon rings and it wakes up Leo who sees Leah's body.

He can see Sage and I standing in between the trees.

"I'll distract him" Sage explains before charging at Leo.

I run into the cornucopia. It was just Adrian and Austin for me to take care of and I had Taria for some back up.

I can't see Adrian anywhere but Austin is asleep beside Aqua. Aqua is not asleep but she keeps quiet.

Suddenly I hear Adrian standing behind me. I gulp.

"Get undressed!" He yells stabbing a Trident in my back.

"What?" I say.

"I need to check if you have any hidden anywhere" I gulp and undress myself in front of Aqua.

It was the most embarrassing thing I have ever done.

"Keep them off" Adrian says as I reach for my clothes.

"Why?" I ask.

"I like you better that way" I look at him confused.

He laughs "You idiot! Its so I know you aren't stealing any supplies"

I sigh in relief. I'd rather die than be defiled by Adrian.

"Austin wake up" Adrian says, kicking Austin.

He wakes up and sees me nude but doesn't question it.

"We are leaving. Tie these idiots together and then burn the place down" Adrian explains.

"With pleasure" Austin says as Adrian walks out.

Austin pushes me against Aqua and knocks us both out.

I wake up to the smell of smoke. "Aqua!" I call hoping she was still alive.
