I heard the cannon.I peeked out from the cave and hoped feverishly it wasn't the district 3 male.

I couldn't see who it was and my heart beat pounded fast.

"Found you!"Leah sneered standing above me.

"Oh Leah!"I crawled out of her cave towards the female.

"You need to know that Adrian isn't__"

"Isn't what?"Adrian stood in front of me,his face shadowed with gloom.

I froze.I didn't know where to run.

"You betrayed the alliance!"He snapped.

"Me? I did no such thing!"I cried.

"Oh you didn't did you?"He asked."tell me Leah,what you saw."

Leah smiled."I saw her with the district 3 male."

I looked at them all who looked at her in anger.

I watched Austin who seemed to be more preoccupied with his sword.

I looked around and saw one was missing from them."where's aria?"I asked.

The eerie silence proved what I feared.

"She's dead!"Adrian scowled."killed by one of your new friend's ally."

I backed away a little.

"And now I'll make you pay!"

I felt my heart beat get faster and faster,I needed to get away.

Adrian moved so fast,I couldn't process when it happened.my side exploded in pain.His sword had cut my waist deeply.I fell to the ground,wincing in pain.Blood dripping down my side.

"Let's teach her a lesson on betrayal,shall we?"Adrian said then started walking.

Leo and Austin took my arms and started dragging me behind him.

"Austin?"I hoped he'd help me out here,but unfortunately nothing of that sort happened.

I was bounded to the tree and I had no free will."tears came in my eyes.

"Just kill me already..."I cried out.

"Now why would I want to do that?"Adrian chuckled.

"Why are you torturing me?"

"Because I lost aria because of you."

"It wasn't my fault.."

"Yes..it..was."He growled.

"Then just kill me,avenge her death!"I shouted.

"I won't kill you,that'll be too quick,I want to see the pain in your eyes."

"You do know that I can outsmart you,right?"

"No you can't."With that he slashed another cut on my arm and it started bleeding.

I closed my eyes,tears falling down my cheek.

"Help!!"I cried out as he hit me hard and the last thing I saw was his furious face.
