Explosives are Man's Bestfriend (Ian)

After the funeral, Sam and Skylar left us. They said good luck and hopefully the five of us meet again soon.

Taria, Aqua I headed back to the Cornucopia. We began digging around, then we heard a cannon shot and Skylar ran towards us.

"Sam's dead!" She said puffed out.

"Gem, Mini, Val, Vivi and Libby have some sort of resistance and they're heading this way!" Skylar explained.

The four of us pulled out the last of the explosives.

"Skylar, Taria you two head that way, Aqua and I will place some over here" I say.

Whilst walking I heard yelling. They were already here.

"I'll hold 'em off" Skylar says.

"No!" Taria cried.

We all knew Skylar would not be able to fight them all. It was a suicide mission. She really missed Sam. She managed to kill Libby and Mini before being killed by Gem, Val and Vivi

That chaos allowed Aqua, Taria and I ample to set the explosives in place.

Vivi and Val sprinted toward us, unaware of the explosives and blew up. Gem retreated, now alone.

The three of us shelter inside the cornucopia. Anyone trying to get in would meet the same fate as Val and Vivi.

"Okay so there is not many left is there?" Aqua asked.

"Gem, Penny and us. 5 people" Taria explained.

"I haven't seen Penny all day." Taria explains. "I didn't see where she went at the start either"

"That can't be good" Aqua sighs.

"For now we should focus on Gem. He has most likely gone into hiding." I say.

"Or not!" Gem grins from behind them.

"How did you get in the barrier?" I ask.

"Easy. I dug some explosives out." He menaces.

Gem pulls out a gun "For a member of District 3 you're pretty dumb as to not take Adrian's gun off him" Gem explains.

I hadn't thought about that. I had gone this entire game without killing anyone.

"So who first?" Gem asks, pointing the gun at Aqua.

At the last second he changes and shoots Taria. Right in between the eyes. The cannon went off.

Aqua cowered over me. Her tears were soaking my shirt.

"Please don't kill her. Kill me first. I don't want to see her die" I cry.

Gem aims his gun.

"You have no mercy!" I yell, just as Penny tackles him to the ground, stabbing him multiple times.

The gun goes off and so does the cannon.

Gem was dead.

I look over at Penny. She had been shot and was bleeding.

"Kill me. Put me out of my pain" she cries.

Aqua turns around and I grab the gun. First it was Adrian's, then it was Gem's now it was mine.

I shoot her in the skull. I guess I had too kill someone in order to win. I hate it.
