Everyone was in the play room. Stefan and Justine were close behind who they needed to cover. Melissa was wandering around hopelessly.

"Melissa! Cover the base. We don't-" Damon was cut off by the sound of a bell. Someone hit a base. Justine was off hiding close behind Damon, but not to far from his base. She heard Damon snarl loudly and then he disappeared. As soon as she noticed he was gone. Stefan was right behind her.

"Stefan! You need to cover Melissa!"

"No, I'm going to cover Damon. He's to fast for you. I'll get him. You just go cover Melissa." He had a think voice when he said it. So, Justine was getting kind of scared of him so she ran over to cover Melissa.

"Damon!" Justine and Melissa heard Stefan yell. Then they heard a crash like two stone's crashing together hit. The girls ran over to see what happened. There they saw the boys laying on the ground. Damon stood up and smiled at the girls.

"Sorry, he got in my way when I was running to protect the base."

"What was that...noise?" Justine got out.

"Oh, uh, uhm, nothing." Stefan jumped up. The bell rang and the game ended. The teams both retreated to the rooms they came out of.

"Stefan?"

"Hmm?"

"What was that noise? Really?"

"We hit the wall when we fell."

"That wasn't the wall. I know it wasn't I've fell into it before it doesn't sound like that." Stefan reached over to grab Justine's hand.

"Trust me, you don't want to know right now." Justine looked into his eyes and believed him. There was something closing the space between us. As soon as their lips were going to touch Stefan retreated.

"Okay, look. I'm sorry.. I can't do this."

"It's okay." Justine said in a whisper. Something was bothering her. While in the other room Damon and Melissa were talking to.

"So, what made you move down here?"

"I don't know really. Just wanted to come back home."

"Home?"

"Yeah, Stefan and I were born down here. And we missed it."

"That's so cool. How old are you guys?"

"I'm 20, and Stefan is 18."

"Oh, wow."

"What?"

"I'm 17."

"That's good." Damon smiled that same twisted smile that gave Melissa butterflies. They didn't realize they were getting closer to each other until they heard someone walk in.

"Damon? Melissa? Uhm, it's time to leave?" It was Justine. Damon snapped his head up in an instant and sighed. He muttered under his breath 'just as soon as I was about to kiss her to'. Melissa blushed when she heard him.

"Hey! Justine wait up!"

"Hey Melissa. What's up?"

"It's time to leave?"

"Oh, yeah. That's right."

"Justine is there something wrong?"

"Well, there is something. But, it's not anything good."

"What is it!? Tell me!"

"Stefan and I almost kissed but he didn't want to. He said he couldn't."

"What! We're going to talk to that boy right now." Melissa started to walk off. But before she could get to far Justine grabbed her.

"Melissa no. We aren't going to talk about this to anyone. We just met them and there is something bothering him. He told me wewill talk about it."

"Okay, I'll stay out of your business."

"Go get Damon's number. I know you want it."

"THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!"

"Then come back and then we have to go!"

"Okay. Damon!"

"Yes?"

"Can I have your number?"

"Sure." He took her phone and put his number in it and texted himself."There you go." He smiled a crooked smile and they said their good byes. Melissa's phone vibrated

She laughed and closed her phone. Once Justine and Melissa got into the car they turned on some Taylor Swift and sang the whole way home. But they were being followed by another car. They started to get scared.
