Stefan’s POV:

I looked up when the music started to play. There was my beautiful bride, and she was smiling as she was walking towards me. I knew she was holding herself back from running towards me. I could hear her debating whether or not to just run up to me and lock her arms around my neck.

Stay calm, Justine, I love you.’

‘I love you to.’

I saw her smile spread wider than it was before. I looked over at Patrick and tell this was killing him. I felt bad that he was here and was a witness of the girl he loved getting married.

“I’m sorry for doing this to you.” I whisper towards Patrick. He looked over and I finally got to see his sincere care for Justine, his green eyes were bight.

“You’re sorry? You saved her.” He smiled and jerked his head in the direction of Justine. I looked to where his head jerked and almost fell; Justine was within six feet of me. To see her up close made me want to faint. I stumbled a little, and then caught my balance. Justine was standing right in front of me. I reached out for her to take my hand and she took it. She walked up to the Justice and we started the wedding.

“I, Stefan Salvatore, take you, Justine Ferguson, to be my wife; and I promise before God and these witnesses to be your loving and faithful husband; in plenty and in want; in joy and in sorrow; in sickness and in health; as long as we both shall live.” I repeated after the Justice.

“I, Justine Ferguson, take you, Stefan Salvatore, to be my husband; and I promise before God and these witnesses to be your loving and faithful wife; in plenty and in want; in joy and in sorrow; in sickness and in health; as long as we both shall live.” Justine then repeated. The Justice motioned for us to get out the rings.

As I was placing the ring on Justine’s finger I spoke, “This ring is a token of my love. I marry you with this ring, with all that I have and all that I am” Then Justine spoke.

“I will forever wear this ring as a sign of my commitment and the desire of my heart.” Then she gave me my ring and spoke the same words I did as I repeated her response. The Justice united us in marriage, and we both said our ‘I do’s’ and we had our first kiss as a married couple. As we turned and faced our guest’s they were standing and cheering for us now. I looked down and smiled at her.

“Justine, guess what?” I whispered to her.

“What?” She whispered back.

“We’re married.” I whispered and snuck a kiss onto her cheek. The guests were awing at our show of affection. Damon walked up to Justine and me and congratulated us after we finished the procession back down the aisle. Melissa and Justine were hugging and being all girly. I looked around for Patrick but he was nowhere to be found. I looked and looked around the crowded ballroom. I was tugged hard by the arm by someone. I looked over it was the photographer. Ugh, pictures. I could see Justine didn’t want to take them either.

“Do we have to?” She whined.

“Yes we do!” Melissa hissed at her.

“I don’t want to either!” I said.

“Where’s Patrick?” Justine and Melissa asked. I shrugged my shoulders and looked around me.

“I think I know where he is..” I walked off from the area we were standing at and ran to the room that Justine changed in, the only room with the balcony.

“What do you want?” I heard a rough voice greet me.

“Patrick?”

“I said what do you want!” He growled at me again.

“What’s wrong with you?” I hissed.

“I. Want. Her. Back.” I stated.

“I’m sorry, you should have said something sooner. I would have laid down and let you have her.”

“She doesn’t want me anymore. She wants you.” He was standing in my face. I looked at him and started to feel his pain. I looked into his eyes and felt the deep pain he was experiencing.

“I wish there was something I can do.”

“There isn’t, and there will never will be.” He growled. I looked at him and I turned around and walked off. I can’t believe that he is acting like this towards me.
