Epilogue

Several days passed. It ended up being pretty boring around the throne room. Our time was reset, so we wouldn't be dead for a while. In fact, we had at least a couple thousand years left. It was honestly a miracle.

Murumuru was floating around on her giant sphere, eating corn. Mina was taking a nap and Tohka was reading. Mikata and I sat on our thrones together.

It was peaceful.

"Hey Deus." Mikata said.

I looked over at Mikata. She had a cute smile and she was leaning on her arm, staring at me.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"The other day when we...almost kissed..." She trailed off.

I leaned up and gave her a quick peck on the lips. Her face turned beat red.

"Y-you just!" She said, sounding surprised.

I smiled at her. She finally smiled back.

"You're a bit more bold than I thought you were." She said.

"I'm full of surprises." I replied.

She suddenly pulled me close to her and kissed me on the lips again.

"Deus, I love you." She said.

"I love you too." I replied.

I heard Tohka giggle.

"You two are so cute." She said.

We both giggled.

It seemed like it was going to be a good couple thousand years. It was the happy end I had always wanted.

Being a god wasn't so bad either. It was just my fate. It was how it should have ended in the first place.

This is the fate of those who hold a [Future Diary].
