Second drove us down the road. Tohka was asleep in the back and I sat in the passenger seat. Second was quiet and so was I. I wasn't exactly sure what to say. Then she finally spoke.

"There's something I need to tell you."

"Yeah, what is it?" I replied.

Second sighed as if this was something burdening her for a long time.

"I don't know if you have realized it yet over all these years, but I really care about you." She explained. "I know it may seem at times that I am hard on you, or I do everything I do only for myself. But in reality, I really do care about you. You could almost say I...love you."

I was shocked that she was even saying this. I mean, we never really interacted that much once we became gods. I was actually a real jerk during that. But here she was telling me that she actually loved me.

"I...don't know what to say." I stated.

She giggled a little.

"It's ok. I expected you to react like this. You've always been a bit secretive about your feelings."

I looked at Second for a few moments. Now that I actually heard how she felt, I realized that Second wasn't some crazy woman. She was just a normal girl, like Tohka. She just had different morals. She wasn't different like media said. Sure she was a serial killer, but honestly, I didn't care. She was my friend, and I cared about her.

"You're not a monster like everyone thinks you are." I said.

She kinda looked at me while still concentrating on the road.

"You're the first person to ever say that." She said, almost in tears.

"You are a good person. You're beautiful and have a good heart." I continued, not exactly sure why I was saying all this.

She stopped the car and pulled to the side of the road. She leaned over and hugged me.

"You are the only person to really understand me."

I blushed madly. But I hugged her back. I had made her happy.

Suddenly, a car drove up next to us. Second reached for her gun and handed me one.

"Be careful and follow my lead." She said.

I nodded and held the gun in my hand. The window on the car rolled down.

I was surprised to see who was driving the vehicle.
