Wild Hearts (Kion x reader)

Chapter 5

You quietly stalked your prey, for once the cocky lion cub was far away from you, and you were overjoyed even if you did want him to interrupt you. It was your thing, he annoys, you get annoyed and you both laugh about it. Shaking your thoughts aside you steadied your paws and was about to pounce-

A roar ran through out the PrideLands, as faint as it was you could still here it. Like a beacon, you realized that Kion was in danger. Stopping yourself, you quickly sprinted to where the clouds were hanging out. Making a pounce, you slowed down. If Kion knew you ran all the way here just to make sure he was okay, you would never hear the end of it. Crossing Flat Ridge Rock (Did i get that right?) you moved stealthily through the outlands, your guard way up, in case of any hyenas.

 Walking a bit further you noticed the red headed cub, a bit below  you, deep in the outlands, "Hey loudmouth, your stupid roar scared all the antelope, if when your a hundred miles away you just happen to ruin my hunting!" You accused. He looked back at you with a sheepish look, "Oh hey (Y/N)" "Where's my daily apology?" He chuckled, "How about we get out of the Outlands and then you can tackle me." Turning your back, you smirked, "Fine by me." "Alright see you later Jasiri!" Your ears perked, "Jasiri?" You turned shakily and narrowed your eyes, "(Y/N)...."She said emotionlessly. "Wait, you two know each other?" Kion interrupted, "More than you know....." "Kion, you go ahead (Y/N) will catch up with you." Kion looked at you and yoo nodded your head in approval, glaring daggers at her. "A-Alright, I guess I'll see you later." 

The Lion Guard walked out and Jasiri's eyes burst into flames, "What! Are you doing here?!" "I came looking for Kion." You said monotonously. "What relationship do you have with Kion!" Now it was your turn to question, "Sorry, princess, if I knew you were betrothed, I would have never got close." Your cheeks burned, "Were not betrothed." "I should've known, he wouldn't fall for a liar like you." "I'm not a liar!" "Yeah! You just don't tell the truth! Does he know your working for Jonjon!" "He doesn't need to know." You hissed, "Why are you working for him? Don't you care for the circle of life? For the PrideLands? For Kion...?" "Of course I care for him!" "Then why bring him into your life of a criminal!" "It's the only way to find my parents!!" You stopped, realizing what you just said, Jasiri softened for a moment, "What do you mean?" "I got separated from my parents during a hyena attack when we were travelling around here after monsoon. Jonjon was one the hyenas that attacked them, now Jonjon's the only one who knows where they went, or atleast has an idea. I have to." Tears brimmed in your eyes. "That's still not an excuse to lie." "I know-!" Your voice cracked, "I want to go home, I miss my parents." 

Jasiri sighed, "I won't say anything, but just don't hurt Kion, kay?" You sniffed and nodded. "Now.....get out of my territory." She joked, you took shaky steps to Flat Ridge Rock. Waiting there, was none other than Kion, seeing you sad he was immediately by your side to comfort you. He gently nuzzled your neck and you hiccuped, Kion burst into laughter as you hiccuped again. "Come on, let's get you to the watering hole." He sighed. "Hic-!"
