Wild Hearts (Kion x reader)

Chapter 4

You slept soundly, your ear twitching every few seconds, just listening to your surroundings. You snuggled closer, enjoying the odd warmth. You purred in relaxation-

"Aw, they're so cute together!"  You heard voices slightly older than you. Who are they talking about? Sniffling softly, you stifled a yawn. You felt the warm rays of light bathe you and you decided it was time to wake up. You could get a jump start on Kion and actually hunt for a change. 

Stretching your limbs, your eyes slowly fluttered open and you yawned. I never knew Pride Rock was so......soft. You almost fell back asleep.  "Furtenfuff." A soft snore erupted from under you and you almost shrieked. Falling onto your back from shock, you realized it was just Kion. Kion? What was he doing here? You quickly put all the pieces together. You were sleeping, with Kion. Heat rushed to your cheeks and you quickly tried to run as fast and away from Pride Rock, stumbling a few times. To think you thought he was warm and fluffy and....! You shook your head trying to throw out the thoughts in your mind. You can't believe you had just thought that. You sat down, and took a little cat nap evn though you didn't feel content without Kion's warmth.

In Pride Rock Kion eventually stirred and the first thing he did was check where you were when he realized you were missing. "Hey mom, do you know where (Y/N) is?" He asked, not giving a proper greeting. " I don't know sweetie, maybe she went for a walk." "Or for a hunt, 10th time this month, I wanna see how long it takes for her to tackle me." He smirked and strutted to your usual hunting spot.
