Chapter 12

Readers p.o.v

My body froze, but I already knew who it was

"Vincent..." He chuckled

"How did you know?"

"I could smell the stench of grapes" He chuckled again, but darker

"I feel offended Y/n"

"That's what you get for trying to kill me" He smirked and licked my neck and I pushed him off and he slammed against the wall. He looked at me a smirk on his place

"That hurt Y/n..." He looked at me and held something behind his back and I backed away slightly

"V-Vincent?"

"You know Y/n, I said I wouldn't hurt you because the Marionette was watching you....but I cant help myself..." He laughed insanely and I went to run out of one of the doors but he quickly shut it and grabbed my wrist

"Vincent stop it!" I began to cry and he chuckled

"Not in a million years" He brought the knife to my face and I closed my eyes and he chuckled.

"Get off her..." Vincent let go of me and I opened my eyes to see the Marionette standing in the middle of the room. Vincent looked shocked.

"How did you get in? The doors were both shut.." The Marionette chuckled

"I was in the vent, I knew something like this would happen.." His eyes glowed slightly and Vincent looked down. I looked at him

"Th-thank you" He smiled and nodded

"I'm going to stay here with you until the morning" Vincent growled

"You cant do that"

"Yes I can, unless you want me to kill you Vincent.." He smirked and showed his claws and Vincent smiled

"Like you could ever kill me.." They both growled

"G-guys please don't fight" The Marionette sighed and walked next to me and Vincent laughed

"Aw what's wrong Mari? Letting a bitch pull your strings?" He growled and pinned him against a wall

"Don't you dare call her that!!" Vincent chuckled

"And why not?"

"Because she is not a bitch, and she doesn't deserve to be treated that way" My eyes widened slightly and I blushed. No one had ever said that about me before.

"Then I will leave now" Vincent pushed him off and opened the door and stormed out.

Marionettes p.o.v

Vincent left the room and I laughed

"Well its his funeral.." Y/n nodded and watched the cameras. She seemed scared. I walked over and saw Vincent walk through the halls but instead of exiting the building, he went into one of the rooms. I was as confused as Y/n and I looked at her "Just leave him, if he gets hurt its his fault" She didn't look sure but nodded and sighed.

The room went silent for a while and I sat on the ground as she watched the cameras and shut and opened the doors. Until she turned around and looked at me.

"Marionette?" I looked up at her

"Yes?"

"Why are you protecting me? I mean I'm grateful that you are, I would be dead if you hadn't saved me, I was just wondering" I smiled and stood up and looked down at her.

"Because your the only security guard who has ever shown care towards me before" I smiled

"oh, I see" She smiled "Well that's because your nice" I looked at her

"Doesn't it bother you that I'm not human?" She shook her head

"At first, yes. It scared me, but I've grown to get used to it" She smiled "Besides you've never done anything to help me"

"Well I could be tricking you like Vincent"

"I doubt that" I looked at her confused

"Why do you doubt it?"

"Because you want to kill for revenge, not for violence" I sighed

"That's what Vincent killed for" She looked at me

"What do you mean?"

"The kids. They killed his son. They never meant to, it was his sons birthday and they pushed him into Freddy and his head went into his mouth and crushed it..." I looked at her and her hand was covering her mouth

"That's so horrible..." I nodded and sighed

"But after that he continued the killing, killing other kids, adults, workers here. Now he cant get enough of it" I looked down and she went silent.

Readers p.o.v

I was so shocked that I felt like I would cry. I closed my eyes to stop myself from crying and breathed softly. Those poor kids. They never meant to cause harm. But then poor Vincent. His poor son. I started to cry slightly then I felt two arms rap around me and I opened my eyes to look up at the Marionette.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have told you all of that" I smiled as he stroked my hair softly

"No its okay, I wanted to know more" He smiled and I smiled at him and stared at his face. I felt that his face was coming slightly closer to mine and blushed. I closed my eyes and felt that he was close, but then there was a loud scream and I jumped and opened my eyes and we ran to the cameras and saw Vincent running.

"Vincent!" I ran for the door but the Marionette grabbed my wrist

"Y/n its too dangerous and he doesn't deserve to be saved" I ignored him and got out of his grip and ran out. "Vincent! Where are you?!" I could hear a blood curdling scream and I ran faster and faster trying to find him. I was scared of him, but I couldn't leave him. I couldn't let someone die.

Marionettes p.o.v

I was about to follow her, when I glanced at the cameras and my eyes widened and I felt like I would throw up.

"She cant see that..." I ran out of the room and ran after her "Y/n, Y/n stop! Don't go, come back!"

Readers p.o.v

I ignored him and continued to run, but suddenly felt a foul stench in the air. I thought it was strange but continued to run and turned the corner, but I fell back in shock and screamed

"V-Vincent...."
