The Marionette x Reader - No Strings Attached

Chapter 13

Readers p.o.v

I looked at the horror before me and felt like I would throw up. I grabbed my stomach as I fell back. Blood stained the floor and walls, and on the ground was Vincent trapped within a rabbit animatronic costume, but the endoskeleton crushing him and tearing through him.

"Y....Y/n...." I looked at him and saw a slight movement

"Vincent!" I ran over to see and could see he was still alive, but he was on the brink of death. I tried to help him up but he just cried in pain so I had to put him back down. "W-what should I do!"

"I...I d....don't k..know" He was dying in front of me and I felt myself tear up. I couldn't do anything, and I felt so helpless. I then felt something grab my hand. "Y....Y/n....I'm sorry...." His eyes then closed and I screamed.

"Vincent don't give up! Vincent!" I then felt myself getting pulled back to see the Marionette holding my arm

"Y/n you cant do anything!" I tried to get out of his grip

"Get off!" I struggled but eventually gave up and he dragged me back to the security office.

Marionettes p.o.v

I took her back to the security room and shut both doors and hugged her tight. At first she resisted but eventually hugged me back and cried into my shoulder.

"Y/n I'm sorry, there was nothing you could do" She cried more and I held her close.

"I could have helped him...there must have been a way"

"Y/n you saw what happened, there was no way he could survive that" She went silent and then held me tighter. I felt upset seeing her so sad, but I couldn't deny the great happiness I felt seeing Vincent in pain and drenched in blood. But I couldn't show her that.

"M-Marionette?" I looked at her

"Yes?"

"Could you help me move his body? Its not a good idea for it to be out when the kids get here..." Her eyes began to tear up and I nodded

"Of course" She smiled

"I'm just going to call the police, but then we will" She walked to the phone and I shook my head

"No" I grabbed her wrist and she looked at me

"Why not? He was killed, I need to tell the police" I sighed

"And tell them what? That spirits killed him? They would never believe you"

"Well then what do I do?"

"Just hide him here. No one will miss him...he has no family..." She looked like she would cry again and I stroked her cheek

"That's so sad..." I nodded

"I know.." She took a few deep breaths then nodded

"Okay...but I should at least tell the others what happened" I thought for a moment then nodded.

"That's a good idea" She nodded then walked to the cameras but had a confused look on her face

"He's gone..." I looked at her

"What do you mean he's gone?" She turned around and faced me

"The blood, his body, its all gone, its like it was never there..." I looked at the cameras and was just as confused

"Where could he have gone?"

" I don't know..."

"I will go and look" I walked towards the door and she grabbed my arm

"I'm going with you" I shook my head

"No way, you will get yourself killed" I went to go to the door but she grabbed me again

"Well I could get attacked if you leave me alone here, and plus you could get hurt. So I am going whether you like it or not" I sighed realising she wouldn't give up

"Fine" She smile and nodded, then we both walked out of the office.

Readers p.o.v

We walked through the dark halls and I turned a flash light on that I kept in my pocket. I shone it around but could see no blood, and no sign of Vincent. I kept close to the Marionette as I looked around and I heard him chuckled.

"What's so funny?"

"The first time you saw me, you were so afraid of me. But now your right next to me. Its just funny how things change" I smiled slightly and nodded, but suddenly tripped up on something and fell forward. But before I hit the ground, he wrapped his arm around me and pulled me up, against his body. I blushed then shone my torch to where I tripped and saw what looked like half on a rabbit ear. My eyes then widened

"That looks like the ear from the animatronic Vincent was stuffed into" He looked at it and nodded and I shone my torch all around us to see if Vincent was around, but sighed when I saw he wasn't there.

"Y/n I think he's gone..."

"But where could he be?"

"I don't know, but its almost 6am" I looked at my watch and shone the torch on it and nodded.

"Okay, lets go back" He then held my hand and we began to walk back but stopped when we heard movement coming from behind us. I hoped to turn around to see Vincent, but was too afraid to even turn around. My hands trembled and I dropped my torch, causing it to turn off, so everywhere went black. I felt the Marionettes grip tighten and I turned around to see two glowing eyes staring at us.

"Are you ready for Freddy?"
