Chapter 15

Readers p.o.v

At first it was slightly awkward. I guess it had been so long since The Marionette had been out of the darkness, out of the pizzeria, that he had forgotten what it was like to be out. As he walked round my house he seemed nervous and I just helped him round.

"Y/n?"

"Yes Marionette?" He chuckled "What's so funny?" He looked at me

"Just call me Mari, its easier than saying Marionette all the time" I nodded and blushed slightly

"Okay, Mari" I looked at him "Is that all you wanted?" He shook his head

"I just wanted to ask you something"

"What is it?"

"Why am I here? Why did you bring me here?" I thought for a moment before answering

"Well I didn't want you to get hurt"

"And why is that?" I blushed slightly

"I don't know, your nice I mean you don't deserve to get killed by those animatronics" He nodded and smiled

"Well thank you. Your the first security guard to ever care" I nodded

"Its fine" He smiled and stared at my face and I began to stare at his. I smiled and I felt him get closer to me. I blushed lightly and closed my eyes as his face was directly in front of mine. His breath touched my lips and I blushed red, but there was suddenly a loud knock on the door and I opened my eyes and looked at the door.

"Who could that be?" He looked at me and I shrugged

"You should hide, go upstairs" He nodded and ran up and I opened the door and my eyes widened slightly

"B-boss?"

Marionettes p.o.v

I ran up and went into a random room and looked for a place to hide. There was a large bed, a wardrobe and I few other places I could hide. I then heard footsteps go up the stairs and I darted under the bed.

I watched the door closely, to see if anyone would open it as the footsteps got closer. The door then opened and I shuffled back more and gasped quietly as I saw who it was.

Readers p.o.v

He looked at me, an odd grin on his face

"Hello Y/n may I come in?" I was shocked but nodded

"S-sure come in" He walked in and I shut the door "W-what's up?" He looked at me

"Y/n...Vincent hasn't turned up for work this morning, and I was wondering if you would know why?" I shook my head

"N-no" He looked at me then nodded

"Oh and also..." I looked at him

"Hm?"

"The Marionette isn't in his box..." I felt as if I would explode, but kept calm. Since when did they check the Marionettes box? Maybe they thought Vincent would be hiding in it? But then again Vincent and the others would be afraid to go anywhere near his box, let alone go inside it.

"O-oh.." He smirked and looked at me

"Do you know where he is?" I shook my head again

"N-no I haven't seen him" He raised an eyebrow

"Are you sure? You were the one watching over the pizzeria last night"

"Yeah I know but I haven't seen anything"

"I also noticed the balloon boy costume is gone.."

"Balloon boy costume?"

"Y/n...what have you done with the Marionette?"

"Boss, I haven't done anything" He chuckled

"That's bullshit..." I felt afraid. If he found the balloon boy costume stuffed away in my downstairs cupboard, or found Mari upstairs, I would be dead.

"B-boss I haven't seen anything.." He chuckled

"Then you wont mind if I check your house" I didn't want him to, but I had no choice.

"S-sure. Go ahead" He nodded and walked straight upstairs. I sighed slightly with relief as the balloon boy costume was downstairs, but then realised that Mari was upstairs, and I wasn't even sure where he was hiding.

Marionettes p.o.v

The boss began to walk around the room and I tried to stay as still and silent as I could. I saw Y/n follow behind him.

"S-see nothings here.."

"Hm..." I then heard the wardrobe being opened and the sound of it being searched through. The foot steps then came towards the bed and I quickly crept into a small box that was under it. It was very painful as I had to squash myself into it, but I was able to hide away before he saw me.

"Boss, maybe he just got out of the box last night and got stuck in a vent, or something?" I heard a deep sigh and he then left the room and Y/n went with him. I let out a slight sigh or relief.

Readers p.o.v

I walked downstairs with him and he sighed

"Sorry for the inconvenience on your day off Y/n"

"N-no its fine, let me know if you find Vincent" He nodded

"Will do.." He then walked out of my house and I shut the door behind him and let out a large sigh of relief. I walked upstairs and went into my bedroom..

"Mari? Are you in here?" I heard a shuffling sound under my bed

"Y-yeah, is he gone?"

"Yes" I heard more shuffling then a sigh

"Y/n....im stuck..."

"Hm?" I looked under my bed

"Where are you?"

"I'm in the box..." I grabbed a small box from under my bed and giggled

"How did you even get in there?" He sighed

"Just please help me get out..." I nodded and tipped the box slightly, until he fell out and I chuckled and he sighed. "Its not funny.."

"Its a bit funny" He looked at me then chuckled slightly and we both began to laugh until he looked at me

"So, what did the boss want?" I looked at him

"He had realised that Vincent it gone, you are gone and so is the costume.." He sighed

"I knew this was a bad idea..will you get in trouble?" I shook my head

"I don't think so, he didn't find you or the costume and its not like he can look at the security cameras, they cant rewind" He nodded and smiled

"That's good, but we probably shouldn't do this again..." I nodded

"Okay" I looked at him and smiled "Wanna watch a movie?" He looked at me

"What's a movie?" I chuckled "You will remember once you see it" He nodded and I smiled.
