After a while of staring at the pizzeria, Mari looked over at me
"Ready?" I nodded and we walked inside, the lighter resting inside my palm. I looked around and it was very dark, so used the light from my phone to look around. The building was mostly bricks, and the animatronics were metal, so we would petrol, or something flammable to burn it down. Mari stayed close to my side as we walked and we eventually arrived at the office.
I switched the light on and walked to the closet that was there
"There must be something flammable in here" he nodded and stood by the office door
"I will keep watch, but be quick, Vincent is still in here" hearing Vincent's name made a few memories flash inside my head, but I shook them off, concentrating on finding anything that would help the fire burn brighter.
Marionettes p.o.v
I stood by the door, watching over the darkened hall. It was hard to see anything, but I would be able to tell if something was there. I looked back at Y/n who was still searching for anything, until her eyes widened
"Y/n? Did you find something?" She then pulled out a large bottle of what looked like oil and looked over at me
"Will this work?" I looked out at the corridor and then walked to her and looked at the bottle, to see what it was.
"It...doesn't really say anything.." I kept on looking until I found a flame symbol on it and nodded
"I'm not sure what it is, but it's flammable so it will work" she nodded and closes the closet, but I then heard movement coming from behind me and I turned around, seeing nothing but
hearing it come closer. "Y/n somethings coming, we need to hurry" she nodded and lifted the bottle then we quickly left the office.
Readers p.o.v
Holding the large bottle in my arms made it hard to hold my phone, so I just listened out for any other movement, until we reached the front doors. I put the bottle on the ground.
"So, what should we do now?" Mari looked over at me
"We should put that liquid over the animatronics, as that will help them burn easier" I nodded and then he grabbed the bottle "but I will do that alone" my eyes widened
"No Mari we are doing this together" he shook his head
"Listen to me, this is dangerous, I know you've been through a lot but this could get you into a lot of trouble or even killed"
"Mari it's fine I-"
"Leave" he sounded serious and his expression had changed for calm and caring to almost aggressive and terrifying.
"N-n-no Mari, I won't leave you" he looked at me then grabbed my wrist and dragged me towards the front doors.
Marionettes p.o.v
It was the only way. I knew she would die if she burned down the pizzeria, she would get attacked and it would be my fault. The only way to protect her was to scare her and to make her leave. I loved her too much to see her in pain. I pulled her to the front doors and looked at her
"Now leave" she began to tear up and looked down and that hurt me, but I needed to know she would be okay and alive. I sighed and went to gently stroke her hair but she suddenly pushed me back and ran into the pizzeria, the lighter dropping from her hand. My eyes widened "Y/N!" I ran after her, the bottle in one arm, and my other picked the lighter up. I ran fast and looked for her, but couldn't find her and became panicked.
Readers p.o.v
I ran into the pizzeria, through the halls and into the room full of animatronics. I refused to leave him, even if that meant I would get hurt or even killed. I sighed and looked around the room until I heard a metallic chuckles behind me, causing my eyes to widen but quickly shut
"Vincent..."
"Hello doll face, miss me?" I turned around and faced him, glaring slightly.
"You won't win you know, this pizzeria and you are going down" he smirked at me
"Oh really?" I nodded and he laughed "so you don't care that you will lose your precious boyfriend?" As soon as those words escaped from his mouth, Mari burst in and growled
"Get away from her right now" Vincent chuckled and his eyes began to glow
"This is going to be fun~"
