CH. 16

Nova POV

We just finished clearing out the courtyard of grimm and atlas robots 

"Okay that's the last of them" i said taking a deep breath. I then saw that Luna was on the surface and ran towards me 

"Luna, where's (Y/nj)?" 

"He's down in the basement, he's fighting my former master" she said and her hands turned into ice claws and she sent them into a ursa killing it 

"Where's that?" I said and she was about to saw something till there was a rumble in the ground that nearly knocked me off my feet 

"I'm assuming that was (Y/n)?" I asked her and she nodded 

"Yeah, that was them" she said and I yelled up to Lisa and Rabbit 

"Hey, I'm going to go help (Y/n), stay up here!" 

"Yeah, we got this!" he yelled back down and shot a nevermore. I followed Luna down to where she said (Y/n) and he boss, who's named Verix, are fighting. 

"(Y/n)!" I yelled and he turned to look at me 

"what are you doing here?" he said and punched Verix away from him 

"Were here to help you" I said and was about to jump in till he said 

"No, this is my fight, go back up top, there's more coming and your needed up there" he said and went back to fighting Verix.

(Y/n) POV

After Nova and Luna left Verix cracked his neck and said 

"Wow, turning down your own friends for the sake of achieving potential victory? How gutless" he said and I stretched my shoulder 

"well, I don't need to worry about them while fighting you so I can focus on your defeat" and we both came within arms reach of each other 

"You seem confident then" he said with a smirk 

"You could say that" I said and we both tried to hit each other with a roundhouse kick and our legs made contact and it made a small crater below our feet. We then went back about 30 feet from each other and he started to clap 

"You've impressed me with your skill (D/n), your better than I expected" and I shrugged 

"I aim to please" and he stopped clapping 

"Why don't we kick our fight up a notch, shall we?" 

"How so?" and he grew a twisted smile and put his hands over his chest and started to glow black. His eyes then turned red and a bright light enveloped him. when the light dissipated he had transformed into dragon form, he had dark green scales and a snake like neck with his arms as wings and his head was a normal dragon head and had thick scales on his back and a long tail that had to go around his feet. He let out a loud roar and started to dig his way to the surface. I would transform to but it would crush both of us. 

Weiss POV

"

"Where's (Y/n)?" I asked nova who just got back 

"He's down there, he wants us to stay up top" she said and blasted a griffon that landed near us 

"why would he do that?" I asked her 

"he said he doesn't want to worry about us while fighting that guy" and a large rumble came from underneath us. I knocked most of us off our feet and a massive hole opened up in the courtyard and what looked like a giant lizard came out 

"Nova, what is that thing?" I asked her and her skin was now pale and she looked like she saw a ghost 

"that Weiss" and she paused for a few seconds "is a dragon" and it got all the way up and spread its wings and flew strait up into the air. Everyone turned to look at it as it flew over to the tower and landed on top of it. We started to hear people yell
