CH. 17 (finale)

Nova POV

I held on to Luna as I looked at (Y/n), his power made the air feels like it was burning. I normally don't even feel heat but this even made me recoil a little. 

"Nova!" I heard someone yell and I looked over to see Lisa and Rabbit running over to me 

"Over here" I yelled back to them and they ran over 

"What happened?" Lisa said looking at Luna 

"She took a hit to protect (Y/n), and that happened" I said pointing up to (Y/n) as he stood up on his hind legs and a red aura seeped out of him 

"Is that (Y/n)?" Rabbit said looking up at him. (Y/n) or what he became let out a very loud roar which was causing buildings to fall down around us 

"What is that thing?" Lisa yelled dodging falling debris 

"(Y/n), or what ever he just transformed into, it's like something inside his head snapped" I said and (Y/n) flew up into the air.

(Y/n) POV

'What happened to me? What is this?' I thought as I was now in my new body. I could feel the massive amounts of energy flowing around and in my body. I then came to my senses and looked up at Verix as he flew above us. I then flew up to meet him and we were now parallel with each other. He seemed to be paralyzed with fear and hell I would be to if I was on the receiving end of the kind of pain train I'm packing. 

"What is this?" he said slightly trembling 

"You have made multiple attempts on my own and my friends lives" I said looking down at them 

"And you took ones life" I said shutting my bright yellow eyes 

"Now your going to pay for it with your life" I said and flew straight at him. He didn't even have time to react when I hit him. I kept going until was behind him and I stopped and turned to him and he whipped around to see me holding half of his tail. He looked down to see the clean cut I made to take his tail, I held it up and then threw it away 

"Your a monster" he said shuttering with fear 

"No, I'm not, I'm a motherfucking dragon" and I did what I did over and over till he had large cuts all over his body. He fell back down to the ground and when he landed he started to try and get away but I landed in front of him and pulled his head up to mine 

"P-p-plea-se h-have m-m-mercy" he begged and I paused for a second 

"You took my friends life away and you think I'm going to show mercy? No, I'm not, I'm going to make you suffer first" and my hand started to glow red. I then put it center of his chest and his body glowed and then got sucked into a point. I then let out a sigh and I noticed that my team were all still in the area. I knelled down to them and nova said 

"(Y/n), is that still you?" and I nodded and growled a little bit 

"What happened to you?" Lisa asked gesturing to my new dragon body 

"Your guess is as good as mine" I sat on the ground 

"So, you look like this now?" Rabbit said jumping onto my shoulder "Yep, I have no idea how this happened though" I said scratching the back of my head.

Time skip

It was next morning and I was sitting in the courtyard of what's left of Beacon still in dragon form with everyone in front of me 

"Your leaving?" Ruby said looking up to me 

"Yes, I have someone I need to speak to" I said and l stood back up 

"Wait (Y/n)!" I heard Yang yell 

"Promise us, promise us you'll come back" she said with tears in her eyes. I nodded and flew up in the air again. I opened up a portal to my destination and before I left I said 

"I'll be back someday" and I flew into it and I teleported to another dimension.

3rd POV

The next months at Beacon were uneventful as everything was rebuilt, teams JNPR and RWBY stayed at Beacon to finish their education while Rabbit,Lisa and Nova all went there separate ways. Nova went back to her home in the burning wastelands to reunify the fire dragons, Lisa went back to her home in the forests to help protect nature there, while Rabbit actually stayed at beacon to teach a new class called Dragonology, or the history of dragons and their involvement in human history. While I still had to talk to someone. 

Meanwhile in another dimension

A white skinned figure wearing a long black dress with a tail walking down a flight of stairs. The figure then stopped and said 

"I know your here" to a male who was leaning on a crystal pillar and he said 

"So, Salem, how's life for you?" and he took a bite of a apple 

"(D/n), how long has it been since your last visit here?" Salem said looking at him, the male instead of his usual (e/c) eyes they were now bright yellow and his hair is now snow white 

"Far too long" he said walking out 

"Why are you here?" Salem said making eye contact with the boy 

"Just hanging out, am I not allowed to do that?" he said and was about to take another bite but the apple turned into a black mist 

"That's just rude" he said putting his hand up to his chest 

"You really think the humans can defeat me?" she said and they both were now a foot apart 

"Think we'll win? No. I know we'll win" he said with conviction 

"Then I look forward to it then, Dragon of Darkness" 

"I can't wait either, Witch of Madness" and the male then disappeared in a flash of red light 

"Your a fool (D/n), there's no way you and your pathetic allies can win" Salem said looking out over an army of Grimm of everything from Beowolfs, Ursa, Griffons, Deathstalkers, and King Taijutas. 

"And what can you do, but burn" Salem said and her eyes started to glow red and the whole army of Grimm bowed to her 

"Your pathetic race, will know the true meaning of fear" Salem said and walked away from the edge. After she left the Grimm army started to all howl and roar and the red moon in the sky burned out.

Meanwhile with you

I was in front of where I buried Typhereous and I buried Luna in the same place 

"Well my friend, you were right, humans would choose to abuse our power for their own selfish purposes, but, I have seen potential in some of them. some are not as selfish or evil as others but there are the select few who would use our power for evil and I swear, I will find who ever would do so, and snuff them out" I said and transformed into my dragon form and before I left I said 

"Goodbye, my friends".

A/N: Well thanks for reading my beautiful peeps, now then, there may or may not be a sequel to this book coming out next month or not, just saying it could or could not be happening not giving any definitive answers to that question and the next series for my newest book will be out next week around Wednesday or Thursday, anyways later peeps.
