Why today!!!!- Chapter 13

Cobby said, ''about the whole boyfriend thing, you were joking right?"
I nodded my head and he looked away. As if remembering something, he turned to me and said, "Ell, let me invite my friends. They are interesting as me."  I told him that I didn't want to be in a company of so many boys.
It gave me the creeps so I told him it should just be a friend or two. He smiled and called them, in about 10minutes, his friends entered the shop and I turned to look at them.

And unlucky for me, I saw my first crush walking right through the door.

I met him at church when I was eight. His mum and my mum were close close friends. I remember the first time I spoke to him, he was giving me restaurants I could go to for my birthday. Ever since I saw him, I loved him. As our mothers were close friends, I saw him soo many times but the only way we spoke was by a 'hi' or 'hello' and passed by each other apart from my birthday, 9th Birthday. I shifted to Cobby and asked lowly, "tell me that the fair guy isn't one of your friends? please tell me!"

"Wait who?  Oh you mean Trey. Oh yes, he's one of them, he's my bro, a real bro." He said lifting his hand so that they'll know where we were seated.  Why did I have to meet Trey which I shortened to Trey again in my life. I thought that after he went to America, and so I will never see him again!
He came and greeted Cobby, I looked down, the feelings were still there, shoot, and he lifted my head and asked me,''don't I know you from anywhere?"

I shook my head and Cobby being a life saver told him, "Trey, she knows you. She was scared when she saw you for a reason I dont know."  I pinched Cobby and due to my embarrassment, I walked out.I took my phone and my purse and walked out of the shop.
I waited outside and stopped a cab, when I was about to sit in, Cobby grabbed my arm and pulled me out and asked the driver to leave. When I was standing next to him, he said, "Ellie I am so sorry . It didn't mean to come out that way. Please for-,''  I cut him off by saying, ''Cobby, you don't just do things that come into your mind. You are supposed to reason before speaking. Do you even know why I was afraid to meet him? He was my first crush Cobby, my first crush. I tried to forget all about him and seeing him made all that love I had for him back then come back. I tried to avoid it and you just made it worse. What a good person you are!" He stood there and said nothing, he realised that tears welled up in my eyes and wrapped his arm around my waist and pushed me  towards his buff chest.

His perfume scent filled all my sense organs. As I found his chest comfortable, I said with in teary voice,
'Cobby, today has been the worst birthday ever. I just want to collapse and never come back again. Can you please carry me or the next sound you will hear will not be from the band close to us, it will be the sound of a siren which is carrying your birthday crush to the hospital."

With that, he laughed at I jumped onto his back. He told me,
"do not ever try to die because of minor things like this. And never try to be someone you are, I am saying this because I know you said that because one of your friends have said it before. I like you just who you are, a holy girl who just swears a bit too much but i don't want you to change that. Ok?"

I nodded my head and we walked back into the Smoothy shop. I sat by Trey and we spoke like long known friends.
He asked of my mum and dad and how I was keeping up with my brother. That was when I realised that my brother was even alive. So I stopped the conversation to call him. When I called him, I put it on loudspeaker, he went like, ''how is my baby sister doing? The girl who has abandoned me because she got the opportunity to stay with her friend. Or is there some boy stealing your brotherly love from me? Tell me or if I find out-''
I said quickly before he makes any deadly threats, ''I am so fine and today is my birthday in case you don't remember so I am no longer your 'baby sister' and yes, there is somebody stealing your love. How is Ariana by the way?"

Ariana is my brother's girlfriend. The girl is soo freaking beautiful. She is blonde and has a light skin tone. She is tall, probably 5'6 and my brother being 5'11, they were the perfect match, she is calm, and interesting. The first day we got to speak, we left my brother and had so much fun. She's really overprotective though. Which is nothing like my brother. She loves him so much. He is 18 so I can't give two shits about him.

Joel said, 'Who the hell is that boy? and happy birthday I totally forgot but you are still MY baby sister."  I replied,
''His name is Cobby Bradley. He is my new brother, best friend, sarcastic devil and my everything after God and dad'', I said and looked at him from the phone with a smile. Trey on the other hand gave me a surprised look.
Joel said, ''Oh nice, but I have to meet him to make sure he is not more handsome that me. Ariana's here, I have to spend time with my girlfriend' 'and I heard them kiss on the phone I hanged up before it leads to a form of hearing porn featuring my brother and his girlfriend. I checked the time and it was half past 4 in the evening. "So you're Cobby's girl?" Trey asked after I hanged up. "Not exactly, he's just extremely nice to me and we may become something in the future. Why do you ask?" I asked, checking the time. "Oh nothing, just curios. " I smiled and nodded,  he nodded back.

Ouuuuu, is someone jealous?

Oh my God I had to be heading home. So I told Cobby and we were excused, his friends told him to leave money to pay for the food. He trying to impress or something placed $100 on the table meanwhile what we ordered wouldn't even reach $30 and we run out like a married couple running out of the church.
