So I got in and said, ''wait where are we going again?"
"I don't remember trying you where we were going? But, let's just drive we'd find out," He said. I rolled my eyes because I trusted him and put on my earphones. After about ten minutes, he quickly took the earpiece off. I screamed, ''what is wrong with you?'' "I wanted to send you to lunch and since I know you aren't paying, I am paying and all you can do to keep me company is to listen to music", he takes my phone and says, ''oh wow, my music!''

I feeling sorry for him tried to lighten up the situation. ''My birthday is two days from today," saying happily. ''Really, so is mine." Replying with the same excitement I just expressed. I sat in silence and said, ''tell me you are joking." ''Ok, as much as I will want to do that, I won't. I am not joking, my birthday is on the 17th of February." I kept on jumping on my chair like some psycopath screaming and squeaking. He said, ''ok the fact that we have the same birthday date does not mean we are alike. I mean look at me, ''he says looking down at himself, ''and look at you."

I just showed my head down looking at my lap. I don't understand how he can be so nice and act sarcastic. It's really annoying. Then he said, 'oh Ell I am just joking," he parked the car and lifts my chin. He looked right into my eye and then gave me a cheek kiss. It was magical. I hanged my mood and we spoke till we reached an unknown place. He parks and gets down to open the car door for me. I was a bit scared because I was at a strange place. He finding out my curiosity said, ''I know this is scary but I have to tell you. I am a Christian just by speaking. Look over there,'' he says and points to the far left, I saw a small cottage and asked that we walk there.

He continues, ''Ellie, I am a pornography addict. I tried to stop a long time ago. I have been since I was 11", I cover my mouth out of shock. ''I know Ell, I need help! When I watch it once, I have the urge to watch more because of the feeling it gives me. I go to church once in a year because I am scared that God wouldn't forgive me. I haven't told anyone, you are the first person to know this. What can you do?'' I stood there in silence and held my hips, 'errrrrmmmmm, I hope you know that there is no unforgivable sinner. Cobby, I am surprised but I can help you. I like you and I hope to make your life better ok." I say and rub his cheek slowly. He hugs me tight and just before we released ourselves, he got close to me as if he was gonna kiss me. Realising this, I just turned and started walking towards the car.

He followed me and the drive was silent. Just then I started swearing, 'fuck, shit, Cobby please gimme your phone right now! ' I demand. He without hesitation gives it to me. 'You use Iphone 7. Wowwwwww how rich are you? Nice case though, I am supposed to go home today. I have to call my parents for verification on who I'm going with and when I am going home." He snatched the phone from me and said, ''you are leaving today?"

I answered yes and he said, ,"then don't use my phone to give news that will bring me myself sadness."

After minutes of begging, the phone was given to me. He was being so childish about it. I called my dad because I will so not call my mum, I called and my dad picked, ''Daddy, good evening, am I coming home today?" He told me that they will be travelling to America because it was noticed that my mum was pregnant and as the normal family tradition, the child is to be born in America because that is where my grandmum resides. And he added, ''I have organised for your suitcases to be brought for you and a cheque of $5,000. You are going to be staying at the Brooklyn's for another month. The $5,000 is for your birthday. Love you so much Ellie. Enjoy your evening.' Before I even replied the phone was hanged. I just kept on screaming and smiling and curious Cobby asked me, ''You aren't going back home are you?" I answered a joyful yes and he said we should go and celebrate. I checked my phone and it was 16:00 pm so I told him. ''I don't think we can, I have to be heading home now. You can come over though." So we drove home and when I entered. I got some scolding from Chrissy, 'Ellie, how can you possibly leave home at 10:00 am and be coming home at 16:00pm,did you guys have sex or something what have you done to my best friend ?", she asks angrily and turns to Cobby. Cobby was put in hot coals of fire scratched his hair and so as usual, I came to his rescue. I said, ''don't go all blaming it on Cobby, he asked me for lunch which we didn't even go for but had a lovely time with him.'' I turned to smile at him. He gave me a you-are-a-life-saver look. I held his hand and sent him to my room. As soon as he entered the room, he switched on the Ac and jumped unto the bed. I looked at him for a Long period's of time and just fell on the bed by him.
