"Eefah?"  Erynn whispered and the girl looked like she was about to break down in tears.  Her eyes were tinged red and wet with unshed tears and her small body shook slightly.  Jaycon sucked in a breath and displayed a look of shock and hurt.  And Lucien... His posture remained the same but his face changed dramatically.  Hurt, pain, shock, anger, confusion and regret.  Those were the exact emotions that could be identified as it clouded over his eyes.  I couldn't believe it myself.  I knew she never liked me but I didn't think she'd go that far.  I felt...angry.  Angry at her for betraying us, angry at her to do this to her family and angry at her to push aside everything that Lucien had done for her.

"Why, Eefah?"  Erynn choked and she was trying to catch her breath through the tears.

Eefah kept her head down and tried not to look at any of us.  She kneaded her hands together and looked at the dirt on the ground.

"You never paid any attention to me.  I was always the odd one out in the family.  Always ignored, always labelled as a goth girl.  Never played a part in anyone's life,"  Eefah finally said monotonously while she kept her eyes glued to the ground.

"That's not true, Eefah!  I love you, we love you!  If only you saw how much we actually love you.  Why do this to us?  You're not the only one that's hurting in this world!  You think we don't care about you?  You haven't even asked was I okay in 15 years!"  Erynn's emotional demeanour quickly morphed into an angry one.

Eefah looked pained and tears began to well up in her eyes.  Erynn suddenly became emotionally wrecked and broke into a massive sob.  I looked at Lucien and his breathing became slow and his eyes were glassy.  His fists were clenched tightly, and his stance unmoving.

I carefully moved from my position and walked over to Erynn.  She had her face in her hands and was crying uncontrollably.  I wrapped my arms around her and her head automatically rested on my shoulder.  I gently rubbed her back soothingly, like a mother would do to her baby.

"Shhhh, it's not your fault,"  I said softly in her ear as she continued dampening my pyjama top with her tears.

"B-b-but it is!  I'm her sister,"  She stuttered.

"It's not your fault she did what she's done.  It's her choice to make, not yours,"  I whispered to her.

Erynn didn't bother to answer and continued with the waterworks.  I looked at Dimitri who only gave a fake sympathetic smile.

"Don't worry, Eefah.  You made the right desicion.  Everything will be better,"  Dimitri said as he placed an arm around Eefah's shoulders.

My anger level rose.   So he was the one who made Eefah do it.  That sneaky, manipulative, son of a bitch.  My teeth clenched and my eyes bore through him.  I wondered what kind of lies he had to tell her to make her do it.

"Let go of my sister,"  Lucien gritted and he glared at Dimitri, "You have caused enough trouble for my family and I."

Dimitri smirked.
"So have you.  You took a member of my family away so I'll do the same to you.  The only difference is, Eefah is coming with me willing."

Lucien knitted his eyebrows together in confusion.

Dimitri waved off the subject.
"Anyways, I have another surprise for you."

A figure dropped out of nowhere and landed down beside Dimitri.  Her blonde hair flowed softly in the wind and she looked straight at Lucien.  Her electric blue eyes shone in the white moonlight.

"It's been a while, Lucien,"  Rosanna said nonchalantly.

Erynn, Eefah and Jaycon all gasped loudly.  Rosanna walked over to Dimitri and wrapped her arms around him.  I glanced at Lucien and saw his painful expression.  His eyes even more hurt as he saw his, what was supposed to be, dead fiancée with his ex friend.  He stared at Rosanna like a treasure box that he found but just got taken away from him.  My heart clenched at he much he had loved her.  I didn't admit it but...I wanted to be her.  To have Lucien's love.  I didn't know if he felt the same way.  I tried to shake it off and say it was like a stupid girl crush I had on Lucien and that I would easily move on from it but I'm not sure.

"Rosanna,"  Lucien said just above a whisper.  He didn't need to say anything.  The atmosphere spoke it all.  The old memories and feelings had been set free into the air.  I felt my eyes beginning to sting.  I was jealous, jealous of what they had.  I shook my head and decided to just forget about it.

"How?  You're supposed to be dead,"  Lucien snapped out of his slight daze and the oblique façade was put back on again.

"It was simple, you didn't love me so I found someone else that does,"  She shrugged and Dimitri smiled at her.

Lucien stared angrily at Dimitri.  His whole posture rigid and furious.

"I trusted you.  The more I give to you, the more you take away from me.  My prized land, my fiancée and my sister,"  Lucien growled.

"Oh, Lucien.  Don't act like you cared about any of that.  If you had, then you wouldn't have let it come to any of this.  Your loss is my gain, my friend."

"Don't call me your friend.  You never cared about anything except yourself,"  Lucien spat.

"Ah, but what I do get, I take care of them unlike you,"  Dimitri corrected, "Now, do yourself a favour and hand over the girl.  We both know that she's just another unwanted notch on your belt."

Dimitri extended his hand towards me.  My eyes widened as I looked frantically at what Lucien was going to do.  He looked at me and we locked eyes.  I could see how desperate he was.  He needed someone by him.  Lucien, as much of a cruel and heartless person he was, needed someone.  Someone who could heal him.

"I'm not letting you take her.  She's not yours,"  Lucien turned his eyes back to Dimitri angrily.

"Really now?"  Dimitri said as his eyes danced with amusement.
"Bring her to me."

I scrunched my eyebrows together in confusion but suddenly I was grabbed by my arms and was hauled over to Dimitri by vampire speed. It happened so quickly that Jaycon nor Lucien could stop it on time.  Dean was the one who had snatched me.

Dimitri grabbed my arm before I could hit the floor and squeezed my upper arm hard, nearly stopping the blood flow.  I whimpered in pain and tried to get out of his grip.

"Stop you're hurting me,"  I cried out.

Lucien stiffened and snarled.

"Don't move or try anything, Lucien.  I have the rights to claim her,"  Dimitri warned as I struggled against his titanium hold.  I could feel my arm bruising.

Seriously, this dude should be a wrestler or something.

"How?  I bought her.  You have no claim over her,"  Lucien demanded furiously.

Dimitri just chuckle and shook his head.

"You know nothing, Lucien.  I have more rights over her than you do.  After all, I am her father."
