A Match Made in Heaven (Part 6)

Michael went home to get changed into something nicer and came back at 6:00, he was wearing light gray jeans with a darker gray shirt. He was a half hour early so they talked about everything that's been going on, Freddy becoming famous, Francis meeting Frances, her job promotion. They talked until 6:30 when Frances came up to bring her to the restaurant, Frances was caught off guard when he saw Michael standing behind Francis.
"Hey." He said sheepishly, looking Michael up and down nervously. "Frances, this is my other brother, Michael, he just got back from the war grounds and will be joining us for dinner." She said smiling. "Oh, nice to meet you." He said holding his hand out to Michael, Michael took his hand and nodded his head. The restaurant was within walking distance from Francis' apartment so they walked and we're just a little late meeting Freddy and Jessica. They waved to them and Freddy was shocked to see Michael walking behind Francis. He stood up and walked over to them kissing Francis and shaking Frances' hand and then hugging Michael tight. When we got to the table Jessica gave Freddy a weird look when he sat down beside her. "This is my lovely sister, Francis and her new boyfriend Frances, and that, that is my brother Michael who has just returned from the army." He said to Jessica explaining who everyone was kissing the back of her hand. She nodded in approval and then Freddy remembers, "Right! This is my girlfriend Jessica."
    "SO, Michael, what part of the army are you in?" Jessica asked after they all ordered their food. "Well I'm in combat on the ground." He said looking up at her she nods and looks down. instead of questioning Michael any further she turns to Francis and Frances, "So when did you to meet?" She asks taking a sip of water "About 2 days ago." Francis says looking at Frances and Jessica chokes on her water, "And you are already introducing him to the majority of your family?" She says shocked then adds "I mean I didn't even think Freddy had family until now." She looked Francis in the eyes in total shock, "Idon't thinks it's strange." Francis responds "Me either." Frances said putting his arm around Francis. "Whatever." She said and turned to Freddy and asked, "When is the food going to get here?" "We just ordered it." He responded. Michael and Francis exchange looks and both stare at Freddy in shock.
    Things got better once the food came, Jessica was less rude because she was stuffing her face with food, and when she did talk it was about some weight loss program she was doing. She didn't give anybody any time to talk, which Francis was almost grateful for, because Frances kept passing her notes like they were in high school. Michael on the other hand was miserable, finally he had had enough, Jessica was in the middle of talking about her butt exercises when Michael just spat out, "Would you mind shutting your goddamn mouth for 30 seconds so I can talk to Freddy." Francis and Frances stopped passing notes and looked up at him in shock. Jessica looked like she'd been slapped across the face, she grabbed Freddy by the sleeve and dragged him out of the restaurant.
    Francis started laughing hysterically in the middle of desert "Are you going insane?" Michael asked looking at his sister who can't even catch her breathe. "The face Jessica was making when you yelled at her was AWESOME!" She said still laughing, people were starting to stare and a smile came across his face and soon. He was laughing as well "It was pretty good wasn't it?" He said laughing "Remember when we used to pretend to be a couple and crash his dates and pick out every idiosyncrasy they had." He said laughing "Should I be intimidated?" Frances asks smiling "No, no I like you, you're fine." He answered
    After they paid for dinner Michael left to get to his hotel and France walked Francis home. "Your brother seems nice." Frances says as they walked "Which one?" She said looking at her feet. "Michael." He said looking up "Ya, he was always my favorite." She said looking at him and smiling. "Sorry about Freddy and Jessica." she said looking back down. "It's ok, they are better then my family, I have 5 older siblings." He said and she laughed He kissed her when they got to her apartment she smiled and walked in and the night ended.
