Chapter 4

Niall's POV

I don't know what I was thinking when I hugged Alex. Something just came over me, like I had to be near her. I couldn't describe the feeling. Was it...need? I don't know. I do know that if she isn't back soon I'm walking out of this house to find her. She looks like she can handle herself on the out side but on the inside she is scared. She left toward the mountain part of the ranch which is all I know if I go to look for her. She rides like she learned to that before learning how to walk. I think about her long legs and how I want to be between them and how she bounces when her horse trots and I smirk at a dirty thought if you know what I mean. I'm snapped out of my dirty thoughts to Zayn screaming.

"Damn you Harry, you almost have me a heart attack." I can hear Zayn trying to hide his laughing. Harry however is not. He is letting it all out.

"You... should... have... seen... your... face!" Harry barley says between laughs. I smirk at him. He can be so ridicules at times. Just as he stops laughing Alex walks in the door wearing only shorts and a tank top with obviously a sports bra and stops dead in her tracks when she sees Liam and Louis looking through pictures of her family or some people in a photo album. "Where did you find that?" She asks with her voice cracking at the end.

"We found it under the bed in Liam's room. I'm sorry if you didn't want us to look at it love." Louis explains. She walks over to them and looks down at the picture they were looking at. Her eyes got as big as plates and she quickly shut the album and ran upstairs only coming back down seconds later.

"How much did you see?" She asks holding her breath.

"Not much, but what kind of dogs were the really big ones standing next to you?" Liam states.

"Ugh. I didn't want to tell you." She motions for them to sit down. When they do Harry and Zayn are already seated. She sighs.

"Alright. You need to listen and not ask or say anything until I'm done." We all nod.

"Those dogs you saw, weren't dogs at all but wolves. I am a shapeshifter okay? That was my mother and father in their wolf form. The white one being my mother and the black one being my father. I am an alpha female very rare but possible. My parents died three years ago so it's been only me, my pack and my brothers and sisters. Alright now you may ask question starting with Harry and ending with Niall."

"Will you kill, torture, or eat us?" Alex laughs at the question.

"No. Otherwise I would have done it already." She smirks.

"What do you eat then?" Zayn asks nervousness clear in his voice.

"Well when I'm in my wolf state I eat squirrels, deer, rabbits, etc. and when I'm in my human form I eat normal food but cooked." She explains. Zayn sighs in relief.

"How many enemies do you have?" Liam asks a little more serious.

"Too many to keep count but not enough to all come together and kill me along with my pack." She says plainly.

"Are you in a fight right now?" Louis asks a little of worry hinted in his voice.

"Yes. As of tonight I am at war with Blue Moon Pack and their alpha male Jason who wants me as his mate." She says with this time worry in her voice.

"Will you?" I asks too soon and to angry after she finishes making everyone look at me.

"No. I'd rather die then become Jason's mate. He only wants me as his mate since I'm am alpha female my mate would take my place as alpha and is become Luna the normal roll of a female wolf who is mated with the alpha...and Jason's a jackass soo yeah." She says in an ew tone. I relax a little. Still angry that another man could have her instead of me. I felt...jealousy? I don't know but I wanted and had to come clean to Alex.

"If that's all you have for tonight we should go to bed. Its late." She says standing.

"What about Jason?" Liam asks.

"He is going to have to go through an army of angry males if he wants to get to me. Plus my brothers so we'll be fine."

"How many brothers and sisters do you have?" Louis asks curious. She stops turns around to face us and says...

"Three brothers and six sisters. Rey Jr., Joey, Eric, and my sisters are Desirée, Silvia, Sandy, Ashley and Amanda, and my sixth sister died at six montages but I still say I have six sisters. Her name was Angle." I run up to her and hug her...again. She is shocked at first but then she gives in and hugs me back. The other boys come and give her a hug. She hugs them all and when she pulls away she asks "What was that for?"

"Well you lost your sister, then your parents we just though since we couldn't bring them back the least we could do was hug you." I say.

"Thank you, that was thoughtful. Now we should really head off to bed. I wake up really early usually around three so if you hear growling, howling, or screaming don't panic." She says smiling. Then she turns on her heal and runs up the stairs with us right behind her. She stops at her door.

"Well goodnight, sweet dreams, and see you in the morning." She turns and walks in her room.

"Niall stop drooling over Alex. She is starting to notice and incase you didn't hear SHE'S A WEREWOLF! SNAP OUT OF IT! SHE WOULD KILL US IF WE SO MUCH AS ANGERED HER A SMIDGE!" Liam practically whispers screams. I don't know what to do. Besides fight for her.

"I know that Liam. I'm not deaf. But I don't mind what she is, I mind about who she is." I see the shock in his eyes but the other boys are I don't know calm about it? It doesn't matter to me. Just then Alex opens the door.

"Incase you weren't listening to me down stairs first I'm a shapeshifter not a werewolf, those things are smaller and not as strong. Second I wouldn't hurt any of you because werewolves eat humans not shape shifters. Third I have twenty times better hearing then an average human so I heard everything you just said and a little hurt by it. Now please go to bed, and if your this afraid of me I'll leave and sleep elsewhere."

She says out of breath with a little hurt in her voice.

"No, it's just, ugh I'm sorry I'm not scared just freaked out. Sorry Alex."

"It's fine. Goodnight Liam, Louis, Harry, Zayn, Niall." She holds eye contact with me for a while before turning away and closing her door.
