Liam's POV

I told Alex how I felt, but I'm not so sure it was a good idea. I mean her mate. That means I have to mark her right? Then that also means I have to become what she is. We stand and watch Jason run with his tail in between his legs. When he is out of sight Alex relaxes and turns to me. She nudges her head into my chest. I rub her pelt. She purrs. I laugh.

"Liam what are you doing out here? I thought I told you to go to bed."

"Sorry...alpha but I missed you already."

"Ha ha very funny." she says with sarcasm in her voice.

"Get on my back I'll take you to my house."

I don't hesitate I jump on her back and she walks, trots, then runs and soon enough we are back in the back yard. I quickly jump off her back and run inside. My worst nightmare comes true right then and there. Niall stands there with anger written all over his face.

"What the hell are you doing? I love Alex! Liam how could you do this to me? You! Of all people!"

"Niall calm down, nothing happened I swear. I just went into the woods and found Alex fighting Jason and she let me ride her back here that's it."

"Wait she was fighting again? Where is she? Is she hurt? I need to find her."

"Niall she's fine and she was right behind me. Plus I wouldn't have ridden her if she was hurt."

"I'm sorry I snapped at you. Its just... I really love her and I need her."

This cannot be good. I think to myself. Alex then comes down the stairs.

"Hey guys." that's all she says. We follow her into the kitchen and she stars making pancakes. Niall's favorite.
