Hey peeeps(:

So, I'm thinking about starting a new manxman book. The description, though poorly written, is up, so if y'all lovely readers could give me some insight on it, I would be eternally thankful(:

Skylar~

I blushed as my mother helped me brush through my long dirty blonde hair. I loved the accents of black that came natural to my hair. I rubbed some lotion on my arms, legs, stomach, and face. I kept it off my neck and chest for when Ryder, Derek, and Can bit me tonight. I looked in the mirror and smiled softly.

I don't know what they see in me. I thought as I looked at the person looking back at me. I sighed which caught my mothers attention.

"What's wrong, il mio amore" (italian). I smiled.

"Nothing, madre. Just thinking about tonight." I said softly then stood. I was in only underwear and a bra. The dark red lace of Cain's favorite color made my pale skin seem even more ghostly. I put a block on my thoughts so I wouldn't fall into the depression of how unworthy I was of my sexy mates.

My body would never compare to the beautiful women that they deserved, and could have at any second. I took a deep breath and finished applying my make up while my mother brought in my dress for tonight.

No, it wasn't a wedding, but it was a special tradtition in our pack. The woman being claimed had to dress up so she looked presentable for the pack. It was to show of how beautiful the woman really was, just before her mate claimed her. Kind of like a tease, if you will.

I pulled the black dress over my body and smiled at the feel. Derek and Ryder had choose it. I could feel the silk lining the inside while the outside was a tad bit rougher. I licked my lips which reminded me that Ryder had asked me to wear Vanilla chap stick. I quickly grabbed it and put on a generous amount so there would still be some in an hour when the claiming actually took part.

I looked over at the clock and my eyes widened.

"Madre you have to go get dressed! We have to leave in twenty minutes." I said urgently but kept my head lowered in respect. She chuckled but walked from my room. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth once more. I was very careful to not get anything on my dress. I put on a little more vanilla chapstick then descended the stairs. My eyes widened as I saw a large man standing at the door. I looked up to my mothers room but her door was closed. I looked back at the man. He looked oddly familar.

"Are you just going to stand there, or are you going to come and give your favorite cousin a hug?" He said. My face brightened as I recognized the voice in an instant.

"Wren!" I squealed in delight and threw my arms around the huge bear. Literally. He was cousin to me, a wolf, yes, but he was indeed half human half bear. I smiled. "What are you doing here? Won't zio (uncle) be mad?" I asked. He shrugged.

"I wasn't missing the mating of my little cousin for anything." He paused then laughed. "Ok, that sounded a bit weird." I just laughed and then my mother came down the stairs. She smiled.

"Wren! You made it." She said quickly coming over and greeting him. She was in a beautiful dark purple satin dress. They hugged and just smiled.

"I did. Now, we have two minutes to get there. Let's go." He laughed but I was already running out the door to the car Derek had ordered to pick me and my mother up. We all three climbed in and the driver hurried to the top of the mountains that were behind us. I looked over and saw a duffel bag and smiled thankfully to my mother. She winked. If it weren't for her, I would have forgotten the clothes I would need for the next week. After a mating, the newly mated go off on their own for a week to be able to fully complete the ritual.
