'Quit it you brat!'

AN: Yay! I'm so happy I kept schedule again! Last chappy was a little intense with all the fighting but now it's gonna be more mellow...hopefully. I really wanna make Kakuzu and Hidan all ~cutesy~ but that's not how they act. And I think I've already made them too cute. ^^' I hope you enjoy this chappy!

Gaara's POV

The next day at school Naruto is not present and all the other students are gossiping about why Mizuki-sensei is not there today. A few people that stayed late at school yesterday say they saw the police come. As Kakashi-sensei sits at his desk and waits for the bell to ring I can see stress pulling at the corners of his eyes. He also looks like he had inadequate sleep.

The bell rings and Kakashi-sensei has us bow before sitting back down. He sighs before speaking,"I'm sure that most or all of you have heard about what happened yesterday. Mizuki-sensei will not be working for the school nor the district anymore." As the students started to talk amongst themselves, asking and pondering why Mizuki was fired Kakashi-sensei yelled over them,"I don't want anyone talking about this in my classroom! Is that clear?"

A chorus of "Yes, Sensei." replied.

"...Now open your books to page 263"

During lunch as I was walking to our groups usual bench I heard new gossip amongst the other students.

"You know that blond kid, Naruto?"

"Yeah."

"He's not here today."

"So?"

"Mizuki was apparently arrested by police yesterday and Naruto isn't here today."

"Just cut to the chase!"

"Alright, alright...Some people have been thinking that something happened with Mizuki and Naruto."

"And that something is?"

"That they had a secret teacher, student relationship and were caught."

I went to the usual bench and Sasuke was seated there.

"Hey, Gaara. Is Naruto coming?" He asks.

"No, he is absent today." I take some coins out and approach the vending machine.

"Oh...Do you know why?"

"No." I reply as I insert my coins and select a bottle of Pocari Sweat.

"He hasn't texted you at all?"

I sigh and sit next to him,"No, he has not."

We finish our lunches in silence.

As I'm walking back to class I hear more gossip.

"That must be how he got his grades up."

"Everyone knows that Naruto is too stupid to get grades that good."

"I wonder if he tried the same trick with other teachers."

I hurry to the classroom and sit in my desk. I pull my Tamagotchi out and find that it's dead.

Hidan's POV

Last night at Kakuzu's place was alright, even though the bastard didn't sing along to any of the songs in Mulan. It was hard to concentrate on the movie though since I kept remembering what happened to Naruto. And then the bastard noticed this.
