'Kakashi-kun'

Kakashi's POV

I open my eyes to my dark room and a pounding in my head. How much did I drink?

The chanting of their voices droned in the background as I downed shot after shot.

Damn it. Why did I have to go out drinking when it was a school day?

I slowly get up, rubbing my face and looking for my phone. I unlocked it, the bright light emitting from the screen making me groan in pain and rub my eyes. 7:36 AM

I'm gonna be late...well later than usual

I changed into a sweater and pants, dawning my mask and gathering my things before walking out and downstairs to the kitchen. I saw Tsunade sitting at the table drinking coffee.

"Morning, Tsunade."

"...Good morning, Kakashi." There are bags under her eyes and her voice sounds tired.

"Couldn't sleep?"

She shook her head and sighed,"...Have you noticed anything strange about Naruto?"

"No."

"Did anything happen last night?"

"What makes you ask?"

"He didn't want to eat last night and he fell asleep holding Pakkun."

"Well, when I came home I saw that he had struggled with his homework." The pounding in my head worsened,"Do we have pain medicine?" I closed my eyes and rubbed my temples.

"...In the cupboard next to the sink." I got the pill bottle from its place and took some with a glass of water.

I looked at the time,"We should get going."

Naruto's POV

It's hard for me to concentrate at school but today it was even harder. I couldn't turn in my homework since I couldn't do it and Kiba...The news about Kiba stayed in my head the whole day.

At lunch Gaara stated,"You have been zoning out more than usual."

"How much do I zone out usually?" I asked trying to steer this conversation away from where I thought it was headed.

"Something is bothering you. Is it to do with Kiba?"

"Why the hell does school gossip travel so far?"

"Will you visit Kiba in the hospital?"

"...I don't know. Would he or his friends want me there?"

"Probably not. But it would be better to face the situation than to pretend it does not exist." He handed his bento to me and I ate his leftovers.

During class my inability to concentrate was really getting to me so I asked Kakashi if I could go use the bathroom.

I walked through quiet, empty hallways. Hearing the muffled voices of the teachers as I passed by the classrooms. I looked into the window of a classroom and saw Sasuke. He was reading a passage of a book out loud. The girls were openly ogling him as he read.

It really is no wonder why everyone likes him. He's a straight A student and I always hear the girls talking about his apparently good looks. He still has the same stupid duck butt hair though. Girls always seem to really like the smart guys, doesn't explain Shikamaru though. Maybe it's because he's lazy.

I remember Tsunade telling me it was the same thing with Itachi Uchiha except he was really nice to his fangirls even though they seem annoying. Itachi is going to be the next head of the Uchiha company and is at a University until then....
