The rest of the day is uneventful, and she spends most of it cleaning Onew's den whilst he and the rest of the guys watch whatever it is they watch on television. It alternates between sports coverage and the news and other things that aren't very important in her eyes.
Every once and a while Onew lets her rest, and after she's cleaned everything he gets Taemin to bring him a chair so she can sit and watch meaningless things on television too. Taemin smiles at him and brings the most uncomfortable chair, but Onew praises him and that seems to be it, Taemin practically fluttering back to his chair.
Her chair is smaller than the rest of them, and it's placed directly beside Onew's, and not too long into her resting his hand finds it's way into her hair, and starts petting her head and smoothing through knots and tangles.
She reaches up to move his hand, but he tuts and whispers Xiumin's real name under his breath and she stiffens immediately since she forgot they're still at his will whether they like it or not. She doesn't want to let him ruffle her hair and let his hands wander over her shoulders but she'd rather harmless yet creepy touching over Xiumin's death or worse—torture.
"So Y/N, what do you do for fun?" It's a commercial break, and Minho cuts the silence.
"U-Uh, I like cooking, I guess, and me and my friend used to play video games." Minho smiles, and from his chair, pokes her harshly in the side smiling. She tries her best to ignore the pain, but she clutches her side, and prays nobody will notice.
She's been doing that a lot lately.
And just like every other time, it doesn't work.
"Y/N, are you okay?"
"O-Oh yeah, I-I'm fine!" Her voice is loud and her sentence ends with a breathy laugh, not helping her make her case at all.
Minho prods her side again, harder this time, making it feel more like a punch, and all the air whooshes out of her lungs.
Quickly, they stand her up and all turn to her, but Taemin takes his sweet time doing so. She tries her best to avoid eye contact, but they don't seem to want to leave her alone, so she just pretends they aren't there.
"Y/N you're not fine, and we're still here." Jonghyun's voice is hushed and quiet, as if trying not to scare an animal. And she guesses in reality that's what is happening exactly.
"Y/N, can y-"
"I can h-hear you okay! D-Don't talk to me! Leave me alone!"
Tears are sliding down her cheeks, and her hands grasp harshly at her wrists and anything really because the pain and strain on her knuckles is tethering her to this place because she's so scared to tell them or for them to figure out.
Because she's weak. She's weak and she let it happen and it's all her fault. She let Xiumin get hurt earlier and she let herself get kidnapped by these bastards and she let Seoyoon hit her.
It's her fault she's an embarrassment.
"I-I-It's all my f-fault."
"Sweetheart, what?"
"It's my fault Seoyoon's stuck with me! It's my fault Minseok's here and it's my fault that this is happening! I c-can't do anything without messing up! I can't talk w-without stuttering and I can't stick up for myself."
"Who's Seoy-"
"Shut up! Shut up, shut up, shut up!"
She's screaming now, and pairs of hands are holding her down at the wrists and petting her hair and she feels someone pull her into their arms, and she looks up to claw them and sees Xiumin looking down worriedly.
This should stop her, but it doesn't.
"Let go! Let go of me! I-I'm a disgrace, I'm a disappointment!"
Xiumin shushes her, and everyone else sort of stands around her, gazes of pity and fear showering her.
"Y/N, Y/N quiet down." She gets shushed but at this point she can't stop the words flowing from her mouth, but at this point it's just babbling and incoherent sentences. Soon enough, her eyes droop and her arms feel tired and she can't force her mouth to move anymore, so she just reaches out for someone, and lays her head on Xiumin's shoulder, falling asleep.____________________________________
When Y/N wakes up, she's not in her room, and there's a hand in hers. It's reminiscent of when she woke up here the first time, but the air is heavier now. Upon inspection, the heavy hand in hers doesn't belong to Xiumin like before but to Key, and when she wakes up she jumps at the pressure. This alerts Key, and he looks up from where his gaze was locked on the floor.
As soon as she's had a few moments to rub her eyes and inspect the new room that isn't the one she shares with Xiumin, Key starts shooting questions.
"Who's Seoyoon? Why do they hate you? Are you okay?"
She takes a deep breath, because this question was bound to happen and she's surprised she lasted this long, since before it was almost daily she broke like that. She turns to face Key, and she smiles slightly.
"Seoyoon was," she ponders how to word it, "a friend of mine. She used to beat me and say things, but we're not tog—we don't talk anymore."
Key doesn't look very happy, and his straight face has turned into an angry one. His lips that were moments ago shaped into a straight line are now twisted in anger, and his hand is clenching hers so tightly that it begins to hurt.
"She," he runs his free hand through his hair, and sighs, "she won't hurt you anymore. Over my dead body."
She should feel gratitude and safety, but Key is out of the room before she can do anything but smile slightly.
The entire ordeal was odd, but she gets out of bed and changes wearily, noting she should probably get new bandages from Taeyeon soon, but for now she busies herself with something until Onew or Jonghyun call her.
She has a shower, taking the time to shave using a razor Taeyeon's friend Tiffany gave her and washes her hair, and all the blood and grime washes off her skin. She puts on the short skirt of her outfit from before the maid ordeal and puts on the white tank top and heart jacket.
She keeps forgetting to ask Taeyeon for shoes. Luhan's have began to smell a tiny bit of blood, so she decides as long as there's no sacrificial ritual involving Xiumin this time, she'll clean them today. When and if her and Xiumin get out of here she'll buy Luhan new shoes and everyone a bunch of things because she just realized how much they spoiled her.
She starts cleaning Luhan's shoes when there's a knock on the door, and she groans because she never gets anything done in this place, whatever it is.
She opens the door, and it's someone she's never seen before. They are from this place judging by the outfit mirroring hers, but their frown is something she hasn't seen here.
"H-Hello?"
He smiles now, holding out his hand, waiting for her to shake it.
As soon as their hands touch, he speaks.
"Hi, I'm Taeyong."
"I-I'm Y/N."
He's about to say something else, but he's cut off.
"Oh Y/N! I see you've met our Taeyong!"
It's Minho.
"Y-Yeah. Actually just two seconds ago."
"It was more like a minute but I'll cut you some slack since you're cute, ah Taeyong?" He looks to Taeyong for confirmation, and he nods quickly, and Minho laughs.
"Well actually, Taeyong was here to invite you to come down for lunch. It's taco day today, exciting huh Tae?"
"Y-Yeah, taco day!"
She smiles, and slips on her shoes, following them to the dining hall, listening to Minho attempt to converse with Taeyong, but getting half-hearted answers instead. Taeyong walks quicker than Minho, so every few steps Minho has to either ask Taeyong to slow down or he himself has to speed up.
"Y/N, do you like tacos?" Minho's given up in Taeyong and changed his line of fire.
"I guess, y-yeah."
"Good, good."
They walk in silence to the dining hall, and when they get in its loud and there are three tables of people, all eating tacos and laughing and smiling. Y/N doesn't understand how they can smile so much. She fits much better with someone like Taeyong. Speaking of, he walks away as quickly as he can, and Minho starts dragging her to the table where there's been a plate set up for her already. Her spot is situated across from Onew, with Xiumin on her left and Key on her right.
Key still looks slightly angry, so she avoids all conversation involving him.
Onew stares a her for half the time, and the other half is spent talking to Minho about some sports team, so she just looks down at her plate and idly picks at pieces of tortilla off her taco.
"Y/N, eat! You're too skinny!" She begs to differ, but Jonghyun sounds so passionate about it she takes a large bite just for show. He smiles after she does so, and she decides it's better this than him yell at her so she eats more.
She chokes when the door slams open."Surprise!"

Hope you enjoyed, my lovelies! I finished this in like half an hour so it might be a tad bit (more like really) subpar. It might also be the last one for a week because I'm going on a retreat with my grade-eight class on Wednesday until Friday, so I'll try to get another one done before that, but who knows.
I also have soccer tryouts this week, so wish me luck on those!
Also lately the boy who sits beside me has taken a liking to annoying me during art and wrecking my stuff, so give me the strength not to rip his throat out!
If you've read this far, thank you a lot! I love you loads, don't forget! Also, if you wanna talk about this book or life or Kpop and anime my messages are open always, you guys know that!
Love you to Pluto and back,
Sierra Anne
