She feels Kibum tremble even with her in his grasp, so feels slightly less worried about the situation.
Other than the fact he could kill her here in front of Minseok at any time, she almost feels safe. Maybe the fact that she's in a new life threatening situation every five minutes gives her the ability to feel more calm in these types of situations, but she really just thinks that she can't be bothered with this anymore.
"Kibum, please, just put me down and Minseok won't have to get involve-"
"Do you think I went this far just to let you go?"
"Fair. Minseok, please, just try not to make too much of a ruckus."
Minseok scoffs at her, and pushes himself off the wall he was leaning on, and just takes a step towards them.
"I may not be Baekhyun or Chanyeol, but I pride myself on the amount of ruckus I can make. You don't just tell us not to cause a disturbance."
"Again, fair."
Kibum lets go of her and more or less shoves her to the floor, already seeing where this confrontation was headed.
She stands, dusting herself off.
"Y/N, start walking back, I don't know if you want to see this."
She turns on her heel, continuing to walk, throwing her hand up in the air and waving over her shoulder.
"I want him alive, there's still shit he has to apologize to Taemin for."
She walks nonchalantly for someone who just was threatened, but if she made a big deal of every time she could have potentially died she would have never done anything since she's met EXO.
Speaking of, how long has it been? Not long enough that anyone has noticed her absence, hopefully.
She really needs to work on her train of thought, she can't seem to remember anything these days.
Which reminds her, she needs to go home.
As much fun, fun being used very very loosely, as this has been, she has a home to get to, school to finish, and a job to do.
Going home now would just prove to be futile, since she'd be followed most likely wherever she went, so finishing this up soon would be best, and then she could go home.
Thinking about home makes her deflate visibly, because until now she never had really thought about going back. Home meant no more adventure, and no more adventure meant no more EXO.
Being realistic, all good things come to an end, but she wishes she could stay here in a little bubble with them and Changmin and Yunho and Super Junior and Boa forever. Even as dangerous and odd as this was, she enjoyed it.
She came out of her shell over time. She can talk without stuttering, she can laugh comfortably. She doesn't think EXO would even consider keeping her forever.
She's only here until Jinki and his goons are taken down.
And now that they have been, it's time for her to go.
She shakes her head, laughing at how stupid she seems. They're only protecting her because they want to stop Jinki. She happened to stumble upon them. She's not special to them.
She needs to remember that.
A scowl manages to settle on her lips, and so she slows down her brisk walk to drag her feet loudly and lazily on the porcelain floor, not really caring about proper ankle form in her walk.
