Leila's pov

The ride to my house was quite fun. Ethan turned the music on, and we started jamming out to it. We asked questions, laughed at our stupid jokes. It was nice having a friend like Ethan. Always fun to be around. And he's not like he was when I was kidnapped. He was so stiff, and cold. Now, he's relaxed, and calm. I like it.

When we got into our street, I recognized everything - the park I would go to when I was upset with my parents, the sidewalk that I walked to and from home everyday for school.

Then we pulled into my house. I missed it.

I stepped out, and slowly walked to the door, as if i was on a mission. Eventually, I got there, and grabbed the spare key that was under the rug.

I opened the door, and smelled the home sweet home air. The air that my parents breathed. Okay, I sound like a psycho.

"I miss it here." I said, truthfully.

"It's a nice house." Ethan said. I smiled. I turned to him, with a confused face. "What am I supposed to do? My parents are dead, I don't have a job. Ethan, my parents didn't make the best money. What am I gonna do?" I asked, sitting down on the couch and putting my head in my hands.

"It's okay. Scott had 3 million dollars to his name. While you were saying your goodbyes to your mother, I managed to put it all in the car." How did I not notice? "That doesn't matter, Ethan. I have no family. No where to go....I'm homeless." Tears came into my eyes, as Ethan came to my side, rubbing his hand on my back in circles.

"You didn't understand what I was saying. You can live with me." I looked up at him, to see him smiling shyly at me. I smiled back. "Really? You don't mind my snoring?" I say, realizing that I was snoring when I woke up. "Your snoring is cute. I want you to live with me." Those words made me blush. I nodded, going upstairs to pack my stuff.

I was about to walk out of the house, saying goodbye to it, when I heard a voice that made the back of my hairs stand up. "Where do you think you're going?" My heart sank, noticing that it wasn't Ethan. We both turned around, to see Grayson leaning on the stairs, smiling at us. How the fuck did he get here before us?

"What are you doing here, Grayson?" Ethan asked, stepping in front of me. "Wow. Cold boy gone soft?" He chuckled. "Why are you here, Gray?" Ethan asked once again.

"You killed my father, Ethan. There's always a price for murder." He looked at him coldly. "Dad killed lots of other people. He deserved it." He spat. Grayson took a step closer. "Dad did what was best. You, were against him. All this time, I knew you were against him, ever since she was put into the van." He pulled out a knife, and trailed his fingers up and down.

Fuck.

"Gray, you need-"

"I need my dad back! But you killed him!" He pointed the knife at Ethan, evil spreading over his face. "Scott, wasn't our dad, Grayson. He tricked us. And I can prove it." He said with sympathy. Why do I have a feeling something bad is going to happen?

"You can't prove worth a shit! You can't even park the van in the garage like dad told you to!" Sweat was dripping down his face, as he took another step closer.

"He's not our dad! He's Scott! He pretended to be our father so we could kidnap all these girls!" Grayson immediately shook his head. "No. Your wrong, your lying!"

"Why would I lie to my only family member?" Grayson stopped, looked at Ethan, and sprinted towards him, with the knife.

It's going down for real now.

Before Grayson could get to Ethan, I stepped in front of him. Earning an exploding pain in the stomach. I leaned over, my mouth hanging wide open, nothing coming out. The pain was too much.

Thinking that it was going to go away, was a f- on a test. It hurt worse, and then another pain exploding on the other side of my stomach. "Grayson stop!" I heard. I didn't pay much attention. I started to feel dizzy and see flashing lights.

Just as another pain exploded in my stomach, it quickly got worse when Grayson fell over. I fell to my knees, holding onto the cuts, trying to make the blood stay inside.

Ethan ran by my side, and saw the cuts. "Oh my god." He quickly snatched a phone, and dialed I'm guessing 911.

I felt like I was lighter than air. Ethan was by my side, saying words but I couldn't hear them. Everywhere I looked, it was bright.

I saw two people come into my view, when everything went black.

Ethan's pov

"In here!" I yelled when I heard the doorbell ring. The door opened, and they quickly walked over to where I was.

While they were taking there slow ass time, I managed to keep her alive up until now. She blacked out. I don't really know if that would be a bad sign in this case.

They felt her pulse, and luckily, there was still a pulse. They put her on those bed things that they bring, and rolled her out of the house, me running along with them.

"Sir, you can't come in here." One of the doctors said, trying to keep me from going in.

But that wasn't going to happen.

"I'm the only thing she has left her parents are dead. I think I can go in there." He nodded, and quickly jumped in the ambulance, as they started speeding off.

We got to the hospital, and they took her out.

I was about to follow them into one of the room, but they told me not to.

Now, I'm sitting in the waiting room, waiting extremely too much.

That is, until the doctor came out.
