I awoke the next day with a smile on my face. I sat up and stretched. Sunlight was pouring in through the circular-shaped windows. The one thing I loved about the Hufflepuff's room was the homey feeling it expressed.
I threw the quilt off of me and quickly worked to get ready for the day. I quickly went to the showers and brushed my teeth. I didn't bother to brush my hair because of how curly it was. I pulled on my uniform and grunted when I saw how loose it hung. I pulled the skirt up to wear my butt was almost hanging out, but it still sagged back down to just barely hanging on my hips.
I didn't have to wait for anyone, so I made my way to the great hall for breakfast. There weren't that many people up and down here this early, so the hall was relatively empty. I sat down at the Hufflepuff table and grabbed myself a cup of pumpkin juice. I silently prepared myself a small meal while more and more students piled into the hall.
"Hey," I stopped what I was doing and turned around to see a Slytherin standing behind me. He looked to be around my age and was alone.
"Hey?" I replied warily. He smiled and sat down next to me.
"What's your name? Wasn't it like Adele or something like that..." I shook my hand and went back to fixing my toast.
"Just Del." He smiled at me. His teeth were insanely white and seemed to sparkle out at me.
"That's a nice name." I just raised an eyebrow and nodded my head slowly. He just stared at me for a little bit, making me feel awkward. "You also have nice hair-"
"Is there something you want?" I said in order to get him to leave sooner. He looked taken back but quickly smiled again.
"Listen, I was talking to some guy..."
"And..." I pushed him to continue. He looked a bit sheepish and blushed a bit.
"Making me awkward to ask. These guys, they told me you did favors." I raised an eyebrow at him.
"What are you talking about?" He blushed deeply and scratched the back of his head.
"Come on, don't make me ask out loud." I stared at him with a blank face, so he let out a sigh. "Like, you know...sexual-" I held a hand up to his face.
"Stop!" He looked like he was going to say something else. "Arrêtez! Don't say anymore." He looked confused at my use of French, but still embarrassed.
"I'm just saying-"
"No!" I stood up which drew some attention from the Hufflepuffs around me. He looked even redder and tried to make me quiet down. "No, I won't be quiet. You have no right to ask me things like that." I said a bit louder, which gained attention from a lot more people this time. The boy was now blushing scarlet with all these new pairs of eyes settling on him. Usually, I would be freaking out as well, but I was too angry to care at the moment.
"Del, please-"
"You are disgusting." I stated very loudly. The hall had gotten pretty quite now as everybody tried to listen in. I grabbed a goblet and poured whatever was in it on top of his head before setting it back down. He and many other looked very surprised at my actions. I was sure at this point, people were wondering who I even was. I made my way to the end of the table where Professor Sprout was handing out schedules. Many eyes were following me as I asked for mine before storming out of the great hall.
I waited till I was a bit further away before glancing down at my schedule for 5th year. I was breathing hard and trying to catch my breath as I gazed over the parchment. This year was definitely diverse, as I had classes with each other house at least once. I was happy to see I had two classes with Gryffindor today, which means I would get to see Lily again. One was charms while the other was transfiguration. I noticed my first class was potions with Ravenclaw, so I started to head in that direction.
