Your best friend, Jo, convinced you to go on a hunt with her since you were raised a hunter. Her mom, Ellen, was really overprotective of her which you thought was understandable but Jo hated it. She did everything she could to disobey her mom. That's why she wanted you to go hunt a couple of werewolves with her.

Well the hunt went fine...until Jo got herself backed up against a wall. You ran over to help her out but the werewolf grabbed you, spun you around, and shoved you away. As he did so, his claws left long gashes across your back. You fell on your hands and knees in the dirt. You turned just in time to see him getting ready to bite Jo. You grabbed the silver knife you always carried in your boot and ran over. You quickly plunged the knife into the werewolf's heart with as much strength as you could muster. He let out a moan before collapsing on the ground, dead.

Jo looked pale and like she was going to pass out. You helped her get back to the car and then you drove back to the hotel the two of you were staying at. When you got there, you helped her inside. When you finally had a chance to sit down, and the adrenaline rush started to ebb, you finally felt the blood loss from the gashes on your back.

You looked at Jo, who was lying on her bed. When she saw you looking at her, she sat up. "(Y/N), you look pale. Are you okay?"

You saw black spots as you shook your head. "You need to call someone."

Jo looked at you quizzically for a moment and then she saw the crimson stain spreading around to the front of your shirt. Her panicked face was the last thing you saw before you blacked out.

When you woke up, you were in the hotel but you were lying on your stomach on the bed. When you tried to turn over, you felt a tugging feeling. You tried looking over your shoulder but someone grabbed your head and gently pushed it back down.

"You don't want to be doing that. You don't want to see what he's doing."

Jo came into your limited line of view. "I called Sam and Dean since I didn't know how to patch you up. Dean's stitching you up and Sam's cleaning your gashes."

You howled in pain as you felt some type of sterilizing agent, probably rubbing alcohol, being poured on your back. You heard a deep male voice, Sam's, say, "Sorry about that but your wounds need to be clean."

You closed your eyes and tried to tune out the sensations of the two men patching you back up. Finally you felt a shift in the weight on the bed. They were standing up. That's when you got up and pulled your shirt down over your back. You turned back around to see two very familiar faces.

You nodded at them. "Sam, Dean, good to see you again."

Dean smiled. "We've got to stop running into each other like this."

You snorted. "As soon as we stop getting hurt."

Sam laughed. "It's a hazard of the job."

Jo raised her eyebrows. "You three already know each other?"

You nodded. "Yeah, they've saved my life on more than one occasion. And I've returned the favor."

Jo nodded. "How did you meet?"

Dean smirked. "(Y/N) is Bobby Singer's daughter."

Jo raised her eyebrows again as she turned to you. "You're Bobby Singer's daughter?"

You shrugged. "Yeah. Adopted. He had to kill my family because they had been turned into vampires."

Before anyone could say another word, there was the screeching of tires just outside the room. You heard two car doors slam and then prepared yourself. The hotel door flew open and Bobby and Ellen stood in the doorway, looking like the very angry parents that they were.

Ellen marched over to Jo. "What do you think you're doing? Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

Jo shook her head. "No, I'm not. I'm trying to save people. This is the only way I know how."

You ignored them as they got into a heated argument and turned to look at Bobby instead. He had walked quietly into the room and stood by Sam and Dean, not saying anything. After a few minutes of the two of you having a stare-down, Bobby walked over to you.

He gently wrapped you up in a hug, being careful of the gashes on your back. "This was your first hunt without me. Sam and Dean called me and I'm glad they did. But I'm too glad you're alive to be angry at you."

You pulled away and smiled at him. "Thanks, Dad."

You looked over to see Ellen pull Jo into a hug and Dean clap Sam on the back. Maybe it would be better to hunt as a big group instead of solo. You learned your lesson about hunting without Bobby, Sam, and Dean, and you didn't want to do it again.
