Dean One-Shot

This takes place after Dean comes back from hell in season 4.

You had known Dean and Sam for a long time. You had even hunted with them and Bobby a couple times. They had told you about Dean's deal and you were trying to help them find a way out of it when time ran out for Dean. In a way, you felt responsible since you couldn't find a way to save him. You'd really wanted to be the one to save him so maybe he'd finally see you. He always chased after other girls, but he hardly spared you a second glance most of the time. Sometimes though, out of the corner of your eye, you'd catch him glancing at you and then shaking his head. You asked him several times why he did that but all he ever said was "nothing".  

You were still working with Sam on a way to bring him back, even after him being dead for four months. You just couldn't seem to let it go. There had to be a way. When you finally thought you had something, you went to the hotel room Sam was staying at. When you got there, you noticed the door was open. You immediately went on alert and knocked on the open door and calling out "Sam?"

Sam appeared from the shadows in the room and said, "Hey (Y/N). What are you doing here?"

You smiled a little. "I think I found a way to save Dean."

Sam smiled back at you. "Someone or something beat you to it."

You raised your eyebrows. "What do you mean Sam?"

You heard Bobby say, "Let the girl in, Sam."

Just then you saw Dean and Bobby. You couldn't believe your eyes. Of course, your first thought was that Dean was possessed or that he was a ghost but you knew that Bobby and Sam would have checked that first. Sam moved aside so you could enter the room. You were so happy, you couldn't contain yourself. You walked right up to Dean and stood there staring at him. "Dean," you said in shock.

Dean smirked at you. "Yeah it's really me."

You suddenly hugged him tightly. He was tense at first but then he relaxed a little bit. You were just so glad that he was alive. You pulled back slightly, put your hands on either side of his face and kissed him. After a few seconds, you pulled back completely and stepped away from him. You laughed nervously after what you had just done. "You look good for a dead man, Dean."

Dean opened his mouth to say something and then closed it again. Now it was his turn to stand there and stare at you. Sam and Bobby glanced at each other and started cracking up. Their laughter was what finally snapped Dean out of the trance he was in.

Dean glared at Sam and Bobby. "What are you clowns laughing at?"

Sam tried to get his laughter under control, so he could answer. "You, Dean. You've been hung up on if (Y/N) likes you back and now that you know she does, you're completely speechless and you don't know what to do."

Dean looked indignant. "That is so not....," he paused, looking for the right word, but couldn't find it, "Shut up, Sammy."

You held up your hands in a "hold on" motion. "Hang on a minute. Dean, you like me?"

Dean looked at the floor, blushed a little, then looked back up at you. He shrugged and smiled a little. "Um...yeah.... yeah, I do."

You smiled like a kid on Christmas. "Really? No joke?"

Dean walked over to you, put his hands on your waist, and leaned down toward you. "No joke," he whispered against your lips. He pulled back after a few moments. You looked at him in confusion. "(Y/N), will you go out with me? Like on a date?"

You blushed and smiled even wider if that was possible. "Of course, I will, you big oaf."

A/N: Sorry it's taking me a while to get through the seasons but I'm already on season 4, so hopefully I'll have more updates soon.  I wrote this when I was really tired, so it may not be the best.  Anyway, thank you guys for being so patient with me.  Please feel free to comment anything you guys want to see.  I have a few recommendations already that I will try to work on when I get to those characters in the show but I'm always happy to hear ideas
