End to a Long Day

Raelyn's P.O.V

Everyone was cheering for Jack and Jack. I couldn't believe we were about to see them live. I stood in the crowd with Amber patiently waiting. Wondering what we were in for.

They emerged onto the stage and the crow went wild.

"Hello LA!" Johnson cheered.

After the crowd calmed Jack had something to say. "Before we get this show started I would like to ask a special someone to come up on the stage. I want her to know how much she means to me. So Raelyn would you please join me up here." I couldn't believe it Jack Gilinsky was calling me up on the stage. What?

I looked around and everyone was looking at me. The spotlight was pointed at me and I started making my way to the front. Shielding my eyes from the bright light. I got up on the stage and Jack walked over to me and kissed me.

Then the beeping started

Beep! Beep! Beep!

"Hey raelyn honey you're going to be ok you got stabbed in your femoral artery and we have to take you into surgery ok honey. Your mom is on her way everything's going to be ok." The female doctor said.

I was too tired to respond my eyes felt so heavy my leg felt like my heart was in it. I just want it to be over.

Jack's P.O.V

I don't know what to do I can't stop crying. I can't believe my baby is basically bleeding out in the other room and I can't help her. We haven't even made up since our fight. Ugh what a stupid fight.

"Jack why dot you just sit down your upsetting Amber." Johnson leads me to a chair in the waiting room. I look towards Amber and she's curled up in Cameron's arms still crying. Cameron's trying to console her but it's hard being that her best friend since sixth grade just got stabbed and she doesn't know how bad it is.

I called Rae's mom as soon as I got a hold of her phone. That was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do and now I'm scared she'll never trust me again with her. Soon she bursts through the door and runs over to me and gives me a hug.

"I'm so so so sorry Dina it happened so fast I just walked in and saw these guys on top of her so I pulled them off of her and saw the knife in her leg." I say biting back tears.

"Honey it's not your fault I'm just so happy she has friends like you guys to be there for her if it wasn't for your guys we may be in a different situation." Rae's mom says.

The doctor comes out about an hour later. It's about one thirty in the morning but no one can sleep. "The family of Raelyn?" She says.

We all stand up.

"Wow she has some special friends. She's asleep right now but I can only let immediate family in."

We all sit back down and Rae's mom and Amber start following the doctor. She stops and turns around and calls me over. "She really likes you I'm sure she'll be more than happy to see you when she wakes up." We walk into her room and I see my baby just saying there her leg all wrapped up and she's hooked up to machines. I know it's probably not that serious but seeing her hooked up to machines made me nervous. Her mom and Amber immediately go to either side of the bed and drape on top of her and start crying. I just stand there in shock. If I was there earlier. If we never fought. If we just made up sooner. None of this would have happened.

I just sit down in a chair and wait. Dina and Amber soon get up and leave the room. Before Dina leaves she's says "it's your turn Jack well leave you to it."

They leave and I feel like I'm glued to the chair. This is all my fault. I slowly get out and sit in the one next to her bed side and grab her hand slowly interlacing our fingers. This feels right.

"Raelyn you do not know how much you scared me tonight. Man you have such an impact on me I don't even understand it." I laugh a little as a tear slips down my cheek. "Man this is really hard uh.... Baby I don't know what I would do without you hell I don't know what I've been doing without you. That's actually a good question why have we not been dating this whole time. Haha well I guess we tried that and look where it got us. Anyways I know that I don't want to be without you any longer sitting here swing you like this is sickening. You bring me so much happiness and it's only been about three months. I love your smile so much and your laugh. The way your forehead gets that little wrinkle when you are concentrating you hate it but I think it's so cute. I don't want to scare you but I'm so into you baby it's freaking crazy you drive me crazy just by the way you walk. This is turning into a proposal but I need you in my life even though you can't hear me I need you Rae." I get up and kiss her forehead and try to untangle our fingers but she fights back. And I look at her and a tear rolls down her face.

"Jack that was so nice. I don't know if you wanted me to hear that but I did and I need you too. I don't want to fight but I just doubt myself. When I'm with you my doubts are heightened because I can't believe you chose someone like me. But everytime you fix my doubts and I so appreciate that." She barely gets out with her groggy voice.

I smile and so does she and I lean over and kiss her briefly not wanting to hurt her. "Rae will you officially be my girlfriend?"

"Of course jack." She responds.

Hey it's been a while I decided to get back into writing. I don't know how long this is going to last but I changed a lot of things so maybe you guys should go back a read the book over? Or at least the last like three chapters. Anyways let's hope I keep up with this book.
