Go Carts

Jack's P.O.V.

Finally Friday is here and I can't wait until later. One because I want to see her, wait what are you saying Jack, you've got a girlfriend. Anyways, I can't wait until later because I love go carts.

"Dude what do you want to do I'm bored." Johnson says walking into my room.

"I don't know, I've got plans for later so we'll have to work around that." I say smiling.

"Woah already cheating are we."

"I never told you what I was doing, and I like Madison, I'm perfectly happy." I say trying to convince him while questioning myself.

"You don't think I know you're going with Raelyn." He says confidently.

"I guess you do. We're going go carting and I'm just going to get to know her a little better. It's not a date."

"So you just give the definition of a date and call it not a date, okay"

"It's not a date you said I shouldn't get too close to her and I'm not going to be one who cheats. I just want to get to know her." He just smirks and walks out.

Raelyn's P.O.V.

"Just a couple more hours." I say to my self after I check the time in my last class of the day. School sucks.

Finally the bell rings and I feel like I sprint out of class and into my truck. I get home and get ready to hang out with Jack. It takes about two hours. I touch up my school makeup which isn't much and then change. I put on a teal crop top that says beach bum in black and some black high wasted shorts. I slide on my converse high tops, grab my bag and head downstairs. I sit on the couch until I have to leave.

I get to the go cart place and walk inside to see Jack on his phone sitting down. I walk over to him, get his attention, and he immediately stands up and hugs me.

Jacks P.O.V.

I was texting Madison telling her I was hanging out with Johnson to avoid jealousy. Then I texted Johnson to tell him to avoid Madison so it wouldn't cause any problems. I mean I don't know why I care so much but oh well. I was startled out of my thoughts when I saw a pair of feet past my phone. When I looked up and met those blue eyes I smiled.

"Hi." She said with a smile. I stood up and hugged her. Oops a little too fast there but oh well.

"Uh hi." I say rubbing the back of my neck. "Come on let's go." I say motioning her in front of me.

"Uh how about I follow you. I've never been here."

"Ok this way." I say. When we reach the counter where we get our helmets and things I scoot her forward with me. I start talking to the worker and I feel her uneasy. I look and realize I still have my arm around her waist. Crap. I casually take my arm off of her waist and then grab both of our helmets before she can grab hers.

"I could take that." She says motioning towards the helmet.

"Well that wouldn't be an act a gentlemen would do." I say smirking.

"Oh your a gentleman now?" She laughs.

"Hey what's that supposed to mean." I laugh with her. She doesn't respond she just continues laughing. I love her laugh.

We get into the carts and I decide to make a remark, "So I'll take it easy the first few laps so u can get the feel of it but then your on your own." I say and send her a smirk.

"Very funny. Later Gilinsky." She says as she takes off. I couldn't help but stare. That was so sexy... wait no, no I can't think that, but I can't lie to myself. I shake my self out of my thoughts and take off after her. I can never seem to contain my feelings around her. I don't know why because I've got Madison and I love her, right?
