The Adorable Servant [OLD BOOK]

Chapter 1 - The New Servant

Yori: Now people! Today I'm going to die and not write any more chapters!!!

Yugi: Do it properly! *shoves a cookie in Yori's mouth*

Yori: Buff I doff wannaf! *mumbles*

Yugi: And with that, let's proceed to the story! *smiles while ignoring Yori*

Yami: Yori Does Not Own Yu-Gi-Oh, but her plot is completely hers, so if anybody steals it, they'll end up in the shadow realm...

Yori: I also have some OCs of mine in here! *eats another cookie*

Yugi: Now to proceed into the story...

Yami woke up in his king-sized bed at his mansion. He was tired from all the work he did last night. He had decided to go to the city and take a break from all the exhausting work.

He went into the city and went to the park. He was happy to finally be outside, or at least that's what he wanted to feel.

He can't feel any happiness like he used to back then. He just didn't know what was missing from his life. He had examined himself throughly and found nothing missing.

He was still bored and he didn't feel any emotion. Something that a... doll would be like. No longer interested -as if he was interested in the first place-, he went back to his mansion and to his office. Deciding to get some work done before the sun sets.

Suddenly, a soft knock was heard from the door, making Yami jump slightly as he felt shock. "Sir, I have brought your tea. May I come in?" The person asked politely. Yami assumed it was a maid and gladly let her in.

"Come in."

The maid went in and put the tea down on Yami's table, only to be asked a question by him. "Has there been any trouble in the mansion? Because I heard that we needed more servants."

"Yes sir. As you can see, 2 days ago, some of the maids and servants were sick, and they couldn't come to the mansion. And at the same day, some maids and servants needed to go out to do the appointments you gave them. Because of all that, the maids and servants inside the mansion has rapidly lowed down to just a few."

"Oh I see. Then I will go buy some more tomorrow," Yami quietly stated to the maid who was still standing there for her next orders. "You may leave now." The maid left the room and went to get back to her own things, while Yami was doing some more paperwork.

-Time skip-

It was now near midnight, he had decided along the way that he would finish all his work today, so that he can go out and find some good servants and not rush things up.

He cleaned up his desk and properly tidied it to how it used to be before all the papers were there. He then saw the tea cup still on the desk. He had forgotten about it because of all the piles of paper. He decided to drink it and not let it go to a waste. After, he began to tidy his desk again and it only took him a few minutes to do that, and after he was done, he went to his master bedroom.

- At Yami's Room -

Yami was currently changing into his night clothes. He was already tired from the whole day. Even paperwork was really tiring and he had to do them everyday. Sometimes when he doesn't complete it within a day, the next day's pile of papers floods his desk, making him even busier and sleep deprived.

Yami went to his bed after he finished changing. Starting to lay down and close his eyes. His bed was a colour of a deep-crimson and some white mixed with it. All his things were either red, or white, or a mixture of both colours. Just a few minutes after closing his eyes, he fell asleep in his soft bed and had a weird dream.
