I woke up today feeling tired still, even though it's been quite a long time since we've moved here but the jet lag is still in full effect. I head down to fix me some toast with vegemite which was absolutely delicious. It felt like I was back in Australia.

My mum asked me to follow her buy some stuff for our new house like furnitures and such. While we were shopping, something caught my eye, it was a really cheap acoustic guitar. It reminded me of when I was in the band with my mates. I begged my mum to buy it cause I really missed playing instruments and it was such a bargain that we would never get anywhere else.

My mum finally admited defeat and bought it but warned me that it's the last thing she'll buy for me. If i wanna buy something else, I have to save up my own money. I cheered, kissed her cheeks and said okay as we continue looking for other stuffs.

We were walking around, minding our own business until I saw a familiar figure. It was Caleb and his parents. I greeted Caleb and his parents with a warm hello. His parents didn't recognize me but Caleb explained to them that I was their neighbour.

His mum said "Oh, you are that infamous neighbour of ours" she laughs. They greeted me and my mum and got into a conversation with my mum alone. That leaves me and Caleb some time to talk.

"Sorry for accusing you of spying on me the other day. I just didn't want some creep to harm my family especially my sister, Annie" said Caleb. "Oh, it's fine. I could totally understand your perspective of it. So, what are you doing here?" I asked. "We're just looking for some baseball equipments to replace the old ones" he answered.

As we were talking, my mum said that we're all going to go and have lunch together at a restaurant near by. I nodded and continued my conversation with Caleb.

Caleb was a really nice chap and I can see us being good mates but you could feel some tension between the two of us. He didn't know that I have a crush on his sister and I wanna keep it that way because he specifically said he wasn't comfortable with people creeping on his sister. I was scared that if I told him, he would get the wrong idea.

He plays for a professional baseball team so I would think that he had some good muscles on him. I think he would beat me up quite easily so I didn't want any of that to happen.

Eventually, we all finished our meals and was really full. I could see that it was getting dark outside and my mum ended her conversation with Calebs parents when I asked her to look outside. She asked to leave because she had to setup all the new stuff that we bought for our house. They said it's been a pleasure and we all waved goodbye and left the restaurant.

We got home and setup all the new stuffs and went to our own rooms. I was really eager to try out the new acoustic guitar. I played a few chords and sung some songs that I know of.

"I dedicate this song to you, the one who never sees the truth, that I could take away your hurt, heartbreak girl. Hold you tight straight through the daylight, I'm right here, when are you gonna realize, that I'm your cure, heartbreak girl" I sung on the guitar. It was a song that I was writing for the band but it wasn't meant to be.

I didn't text Annie today, because she said she was busy. I was just waiting for her phone call to indicate that she was free but she never called. I took a shower and laid on my bed and eventually slept.
